Actually yes. Back when I was 26 I adored the group Def Leppard. I was absolutely in love with Joe Elliot. I had all the albums, videos, any poster you could think of. I went to as many concerts as I could of theirs'. I wore the same earrings as Joe Elliot. I named my cat after his nickname Zeff. I was quite obsessed. One day I realized how unhealthy this obsession was and got rid of it all. Except my cat of course. It's never good to idolize anything other than God.

Idol worship does not necessarily mean bowing down to a little statue. Your money, your looks, someone else's looks, your games, your sports, your things, your desires - anything can be an idol.

God hates hates hates idolatry. He must be first above all.
