No, but there have been silly people mauled while trying to convert lions. I have a video of it somewhere... Christians believe that since Man was divinely inspired (breath of life from God), we have a soul.

Friend, Christians are called to share the Good News with people, not insects or animals....but you really aren't too far off: actually every organism in the universe will be changed and this world and the heavens and every living thing in the universe will be changed - converted - when Jesus Christ returns! What a day that will be!!
