Okay as for Super JD, he would have the ability to make people roll on the floor and laugh at will. He would also have a magic hat that he could pick an unlimited amount of candy out of to give to kids.

Now, for the serious part of my answer - if I could really have a "comic book power" I would chose to be able to locate lost items and people, anywhere in the world, any time. People need closure.

Jim, I think you would make a great comic book character - your search for truth and empathy towards others is a common thread all heroes share. If I had to pick a power for you, it would be X-ray vision.
