I think you have a deeper understanding of life than a lot of the people who will answer your question - so keep that in mind when reading their answers.
Your life so far, being filled with abuse and hard times has opened your eyes to a spiritual side of this life that is hard to describe on a yahoo answers site but I do get the general idea of what you are saying. Although there are people who will never understand in this lifetime what you are saying, because they are learning different lessons. I think you should nurture your new found understanding of life, if you haven't starting reading already then try the following books:
The Celestine Prophecy By James Redfield
The Way of the Peaceful Warrior By Dan Millman
Heal Your Life By Louise Hay.
They will broaden your understanding of life and give you some ideas. They are good books to start with, I'd reccommend them.
Also, keep in mind that different people will have a different understanding of the word 'Angel' based on their own religious beliefs or experiences. For example some might believe that Souls are energy - good or bad and that Angels are dead people that come to guide. - Neither is right or wrong, they are just different idea's.
I think that there are a lot of good souls who have reincarnated this lifetime to help others who may have lost their way and help others to learn the lessons they need to learn this lifetime.
I believe that when the student is ready to learn the lesson then he/she will find the teacher. Also the student can be a teacher to someone else - after all if you learn something that you think is wonderful you often feel like telling people about it.
Life will help you when you need help and will send people to you when you need them, as long as you believe and trust in this. Also understand that if help doesn't come, then it wasn't meant to. Everything happens for a reason. - Once you grasp this, your life will be a more peaceful.
I'm glad you are OK with where you are in life at the moment, because I believe this is only the start for you. I wish you luck and happiness. Trust that you will find your path, and you will.

The relationships and connections we have in this world are mostly based on chaos.
The concept of angels, or deities is all manmade, and has no basis in reality.
You will have a variety of relationships with different types people throughout your life - ones that abuse you, ones that abuse themselves (abusing you because you care about them), people that have cared about you deeply, people that are concerned about you, some who are indifferent to your plight, some who will help you, and some who will leave you.
The only constant is change, and the only reality is chaos. Any semblance of order in this universe is purely based on the point of view of the observer, and will be interpreted as such.

I think that there are no coincedences. And it is great that you have found a way to pay it forward. This is very healing for you it seems like.
I do, however think that it is a nice poetic notion that people can be angels but it is not reality. ANgels are warrior of God sent to fight demons on our behalfs. Angels are superior beings to us at this time. But when we rise again in the Resurrection we will be Lord's over the angels.

good if youin case you're taking The Bible as a source of authority: Matthew 18 10 “Take heed which you do no longer despise this type of infants, for I say to you that for the time of heaven their angels continuously see the face of My Father who's in heaven.” This strongly means that all and sundry human beings has their very own angel. I do think of that we get a father or mom angel on the ingredient of our theory. I prayed for my niece and asked her father or mom angel to guard her for the time of her gestation. She was born 2 days interior the previous, friendly and possibility-loose. no longer information or some ingredient, I merely like bragging approximately my new niece, LoL.

NO is the answer to your question, although, I know a lot of people out there like to believe there are because its comforting to them to know that there is someone watching over them, guiding them in their life.
I guess the whole angel idea came with religion.

yes there is such a thing as angels.
and there is a "plan" to alot of encounters and such, particularly when they are life changing.
it doesn't take "being special" to be able to make a huge difference. as you said, sometimes just happening to be at the right place at the right time, and doing what you would normally do, can have massive effects on people, and that have effects on others...
