Baptist churches that still adhere their teachings to the Bible. No, wasn't born into it. Not sure what you mean by How many of you have converted.

By the way I really don't believe in religion, but a relationship with the Lord. Religion can be dangerous and the focus can shift to the traditions of men if that religion doesn't have the inspired word of God to base their beliefs off of.

Good Question! Thanks for Asking!
Islam makes the most sense to me. I wasn't born into it, My Mother was Catholic. I started learning about Islam from friends first and was VERY sceptical but then it ALL started to come together and it just really hit home for me...
I had many questions about Religion and God and everything and found that when I read the Quran I had the answers!
If you think about it in the way that the Quran WAS the third book sent from God it all makes sense....
The Torah, The Bible and The Quran should be read Together, as one book. All came from God, only the Quran came last, and brings everything to a clearer light...!

No I wasnt born into any religion then my family turned mormon but I didnt agree, so Ive been pagan for a spell and now, well, I've begun worshipping the earth, sun, moon, & stars for a number of reasons. First of all, unlike some other gods I could mention, I can see these things. They're there for me every day. And the things they bring me are quite apparent all the time: heat, light, food, a lovely day. There's no mystery, no one asks for money, I don't have to dress up, and there's no boring pageantry. And interestingly enough, I have found that the prayers I offer to the earth, sun, moon, & stars and the prayers I formerly offered to "God" are all answered at about the same 50-percent rate

Islam makes sense to me. I converted. I was not born into any religion or raised with any religious influences from family. I researched on my own and made my choice.

Catholic. . . born into it, left it, came back to it.

I had a religous studies minor and am getting a Masters degree in theology. All religions make sense (unless you count the fanatics in all religions wich don;t) (Odd that we call them fundementalists when most are very far from the fundemental basis of the religion). Catholicism is just the best choice for me.

And religion makes no sense to some people, and I respect that as long as they know. But people that go around bashing usually don;t know. Rather then just having no religion they are anti religion. The problem with being anti anything is you usually take very little time to really understand it, so don;t really have much knowledge to base your opinons on.

I was not born into any kind of religion. I made the choice to become a Christian at age 26, after examining all of my options.

Paganism...no I was not born into it, but converted. I was actually born a Southern Baptist.

Why Paganism? I liked it due to the fact there is no dogma attatched to it. I am free to believe as I choose and not be judged.

really, all religion makes sense to me, but I'm born again. it's not really a matter of what makes sense, it's more a matter of what's right, and God ain't a liar.

and you can't actually be born into any religion I know of except Hinduism. Everything else is really a choice you make.

I wasn't born into it. I read parts of the Bible I was given when young, & asked questions of various people ... including so-called Christian ministers-- until I found people who answered my questions based on what the Bible Itself teaches.

As far as I know, we keep no records of who was born into families who already had this knowledge vs those that weren't, who work toward & get baptized. However, we do keep records of how many of us are Currently-Active in the ministry:

Latest Statistics of Jehovah's Witnesses :
http://www.jw-media.org/people/statistics.htm

We don't count those who are inactive (which most churches by far do), nor those who have left us (as certain churches do). Only those reporting time spent regularly preaching about God's Kindom.

I've spoken to many people regarding the Bible's teachings. We don't brag about how many we've studied with to the point of baptism. We don't convert others. We are taught to find those who want to learn, & help them learn how to teach themselves --as well as others-- about God & his purposes. In fact, we teach those interested in learning the Bible how to read, when necessary.

One of the many things that makes so much sense to me when comparing the statistics of various religions, is that they are so fractionated ... both in name & in teachings & practices! However, everyone in each of our congregations --world wide-- share the same understanding of Bible teachings, the same name, the same practices:
