Wouldn't that mean they're already dead?
But I had a near death experience.and everything was blacking out.

Yes, but I am sure that any of the others who have also been priviledged to have had this experience would agree, it's almost impossible to describe.
The closest I can come is this. It's like being everything at once, being aware of everything at once, the crashing awareness that everything is connected in the most literal and direct sense. All at once you are everything, everywhere, on the grandest scale beyond imagination, but at the same time you are the smallest particle of the smallest 'thing' in existence.
Once one has had this kind of experience all sorts of things make more sense. The word 'infinite' itself takes on meaning, the illusion of time becomes comprehensible. All of the illusions that govern our daily lives here become comprehensible. The word 'Feeling' takes on a whole new meaning, you 'Feel' everything !
Then the awful realisation...........that if everyone knew what lay 'beyond' we'd be 'leaving' in droves !
The truth, for me, is that the hardest part of 'life', manifested physical human life, is getting born, which means being crammed, once again, into one of these tiny monkey-suits, and having to start all over again finding out how to make it work !
The other 'side', what we call 'death', and generally fear so much, that's the 'release', opening back out into a pure energetic entity that knows no boundaries or limitations.
I hope that gives at least a glimpse of what there is to be looked forward to. But please remember, we all came here to fulfill a specific and important purpose, checking out before we are 'done' is generally a big mistake.

I can sort of say that I have seen the other side
or at least gotten a glimpse
I have had an out of body experience and floated out of
my body part way
I could feel my soul and spirit becoming
detached from my body right before I made it to the E.R.
that night after trying to commit suicide
I nearly succeeded in harming myself and what an experience
it was
I mean driving my car and not feeling anything at all
car would go the other way and I was going another
direction and came close to crashing the car
I was detached from my physical body and I say there is
life after this life is over here on earth
And I am not afraid of death no longer and I believe in God
and Jesus

Yes I used to walk in darkness believing lies and fairy tales,
always felling guilty and fearful of being a sinner, and then I woke up and now I sing in the sunshine
