What do you say to them to try and win them over for Christ? All are very set in their own beliefs and it is a slightly heated conversation at times. How should you respond during the conversation and if you are not successful, what do you do then?

Hypothetical question .............. How can you remain Christ like and glorify God?

Anyone who wonders, yes, I am a Christian, I just would like to know what people think the appropriate response and action is.

As a Muslim, you are required to live up to many things and many rules...how are you able to do all of that in todays world where Islam is misconceived as a religion of terrorism (Islam truly a religion of peace). How do remain a true Muslim in today's environment? If you are a non-Muslim then what do you think about Islam. Do you have friends that are Muslims? Do you as a religious person know what they are going through?

PLEASE name some difficulties and some ways you can sope with them and overcome them.

the courts in florida was discussing what was going on and right behind him a sign was floating around saying ASK JESUS TO SAVE YOU NOW!... don't these people have anything better to do ...? if they're serious about spreading the word why don't they go door-to-door and evangelize like the jw's rather then making stupid signs and trying to get them on tv?..

Is life supposed to get more insane after someone gets saved? I feel more emotional, more "bi-polar", more ridiculous, and think about some weird stuff sometimes, and stuff occurs in my dreams (read other questions I've posted)... What's the deal? I thought my mind was supposed to get all flowery and positive? Or could it just be my own personality?

I am a Christian and I have experienced extreme lonliness for about 4 1/2 years. Ever since I graduated high school, i havent had any friends. I know God doesnt want me to live this way. I am sad most of the time, and I am self conscious and have a hard time making friends. Today was really bad , I thought I almost couldnt take the pain of a life void of human contact, please give some good advice.

According to belief, God stopped Abraham just before he killed Ishmael...

If he bothered to save one person, why did he let millions of lives slip away in the course of 10 years??????

He should feel even more guilty, considering that those people died for their RELIGION.

I hear people say, it is to say goodbye. But your not really saying goodbye. Your just doing a ritual around a dead body. I hate funerals and I dont want to see anyone I love dead. I would rather remember them being alive, instead of lifeless with a claylike appearance. If it wouldn't upset the living, i would never go. Is that weird?

I believe that there ARE supernatural forces out there. There are a countless number of movies on the subject-I don't think people can just think of SO many movies without basing it on real life. Other than that, I've known a lot of regular people who have had scary experiences with demons and such. If this is so that they exist (The evil side), doesn't that explain that there is a GOOD supernatural side, like God?

This is the very question Pontis Pilate asked Jesus. In the irony of the ages, he stood toe to toe with the personification of truth and yet missed its reality. Postmodern people are in much the same position. They stare at truth but fail to recognize its identity.
First, truth is an aspect of the nature of God himself. Thus, to put on truth is to put on Christ. For Christ is "truth" John 14:6.
Furthermore, truth is anything that corresponds to reality. As such, truth does not yield to the size and strength of the latest lobby group. Nor is truth merely a matter of preference or opinion. Rater truth is true even if everyone denies it, and a lie is a lie even if everyone affirms it.
Finally, truth is essential to a relistic worldview.
When sophistry, sensationalism, and superstition sabotage truth, our view of reality is seriously skewed.
The death of truth spell the death of civilization.
However, as Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn discovered, One word of truth outweighs the entire world.

Are they? Next time you're in your physics class, thank William Thomson, 1st Baron Kelvin.

He was a mathematical physicist, engineer, and outstanding leader in the physical sciences of the 19th century. He did important work in the mathematical analysis of electricity and thermodynamics, and did much to unify the emerging discipline of physics in its modern form. He is widely known for developing the Kelvin scale of absolute temperature measurement. The title Baron Kelvin was given in honour of his achievements, and named after the River Kelvin, which flowed past his university in Glasgow, Scotland.
