plenty of stories in ancient mythologies about gods implanting human females. by the time God "did" Mary (and please don't blush, because that's what happened) it was all pretty cliche.

I'll give a few options I think are top choices....but feel free to add your own......

1. Pascal's wager (if there is no risk to believing in God...)
2. Can god create a rock so heavy he can't lift it
3. Why do bad things happen to good people
4. If man evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys
5. Is ........... person going to hell
6. Where do atheists get values from
7. Will I go to hell for...........

Pick your favorite....give your own choice....whatever you want to do....but I want the most asked question, and the question that most annoys you. If they're the same, fine.

This interpretation is controversial, some have rejected this doctrine as heresy. What do you think?

George Carlin - On Religion

Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time!

But He loves you. He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He's all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can't handle money! Religion takes in billions of dollars, they pay no taxes, and they always need a little more.

I have observed that ppl really insult other religions here in Yahoo Answers and Yahoo answers team does not take any notice. Should not we force them to stop such nonsence.

Deuteronomy 32:8
4QDeutj and the LXX say, "according to the number of the sons of God" while the MT and SP say, "according to the number of the sons of Israel." "Sons of Israel" does not make sense here. This is probably a theological change. The 4QDeutj and the LXX seem to preserve the older reading that implies a god, or guardian angel for each nation.

Daniel

the Book of Daniel changed the name of the lesser known Nabonidus to the better known Nebuchadnezzar who destroyed Jerusalem and the temple. 2 Maccabees 9:5-27 may be trying to compare Antiochus IV with Nabonidus legends as does Daniel (D. Mendels, "A Note on the Traditions of Antiochus IV's Death," IEJ 34 (1981) pp.53-56; Charlesworth, The Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls, Vol.1, p.141).

1)OK, IF GOD IS OMNIPOTANT AND OMNISCIENT THINK ABOUT THIS, CAN GOD CREATE AN INDISTRUCTABLE STONE WHICH HE CANNOT MOVE BY HIMSELF?

2) IF GOD UNABLE TO MAKE THE STONE THEN HE CANNOT BE GOD .

3) IF HE CANNOT MOVE IT ON HIS OWN THEN THIS ALSO MEANS THAT HE CANNOT BE GOD.

THE NEAT THING ABOUT A PARADOX IS THAT I HAVE NEVER COME ACROSS ONE IN THE REAL WORLD. A PARADOX ONLY EXISTS IN FICTION, IF YOU DOUBT IT COME UP WITH A PARADOX IN REFERRENCE TO SOMETHING REAL, THAT ANYONE CAN SEE, TAKE A PICTURE OF, OR TOUCH.

Great answer from a Rabbi

"Of course a Jew can believe in Jesus. Just like a vegetarian can enjoy a rump steak, a peace activist can join a violent demonstration, and a dictator who preaches martyrdom can surrender himself to his enemies. As long as logic and clear thinking are suspended, anything makes sense!"

Jesus told His followers to be in the world but not of it. Yet it seems to me we've not only accepted the worlds approach, we've even created a cloned parallel world where we take all the things we see as bad away and isolate ourselves from the very work we're sent to do.

The kingdom parables in the Bible speak of being integrated in the world (wheat and weeds for example) but it seems we have put ourselves aside in an ivory tower of our making and wonder why the world is going to hell in a handbasket.

Why do we have this parallel world of christian bookstores, authors, schools, vacation resorts, publishers, musicians, recording labels, software companies.... and the list just goes on and on?

would the church leaders have him thrown in prison?

That's who arrested him 2000 years ago for upsetting their carfully contrived religion.

Please state your continent in your reply.

I see this every day. How many times a day do YOU try to explain this to someone?
Why doesn't anybody learn?
