Today is the day of the vast expandingment, it is this day that I win the New Jersey lottery. My God is no namby pamby Christian fairy tail God. Oh no, my God cares not one toss for simple human groveling and mea culpas, all these don't do this and must do that. My God is the Universe and the Universe is abundant. I but need ask and it is granted. So then, today I ask for the $150,000,000.00 that my ticket will win in mere hours. I practice the law of attraction, the three A's, awareness, alignment, and allowing; it's how I worship. So very simple and it works so very well. Ah good old God, my God; my Universe, it never lets me down! I'm going to be really wasteful with the money too, hee hee hee hardy har har!!!

He gave me a new day, a sunrise, breath in my body, food to eat, a home to live in, health, love, conscience, faith, blessings that only one who knows God will understand, patience, hope, humility, material comforts, friends, family, and on and on.
Now I'm sure you think that you alone have done all this for yourself but that is so unfortunate a belief. The thing is you have eternity to worry about and I would worry about it because somehow it just might be true and won't you look stupid when you stand there and try to answer for your feelings toward the God who loved you when you hated him?

Another day of health, sufficient food on the table, peace of mind, forgiveness, joy, another enjoyable day with my family, the happiness of seeing my oldest son wheel around in his wheelchair when I was told he would die before the night was over almost 3 years ago, the fun of watching my grandson grow and learn, compassion for all less fortunate than myself, humbleness, kindness (especially toward my neighbors), the ability to help some of those who cannot help themselves, capableness to exert my free will in a constructive manner, and love for my fellow man which is the greatest gift of all.

A purple nurple!?

O.K., seriously... If I held any personal beliefs in an omniscient deity, I'd have to say that it will have given me the satisfaction of knowing that I'd touched several people's lives in a positive way.

Each day is so exciting because we can't imagine what God has in store for us. I had a friend and haven't seen him in 14 years, and then all of a sudden he showed up yesterday at my college to speak in chapel. God is so wonderful.
