Based on your study and evaluation, determine whether these abilities will be a help or a hindrance to you in the attainment of your life goals. Psychic abilities are just like any other developed skill or talent. Not everyone wants to become a lawyer, a doctor or an engineer. We develop the skills and abilities that will help us in the work that we do.
Third, prepare your self and your body by learning to meditate.
Fourth, use what abilities are made available to you not so much for your own purposes but for good in the service of others.

The most effective way to develp psychic abilities of any sort is to meditate, and practice.
It is not a quick road, and may take a lot longer than you were hoping it would, but eventually if you can focus long enough, and hard enough, I believe that is how you could develop those ablities

Well if from a non spiritulism point of view you meditate and you try to develope your senses and feelings while in that state. Pay attention to your feelings, what you see in person or in your head.
If from a spiritualistic point you can light a white candle and pray to for your guides ot help you and assist you in your abilities. he rest will happen naturally. through Prayer meditation and candle lighting and water giving. Very imprtant!
