I believe that there ARE supernatural forces out there. There are a countless number of movies on the subject-I don't think people can just think of SO many movies without basing it on real life. Other than that, I've known a lot of regular people who have had scary experiences with demons and such. If this is so that they exist (The evil side), doesn't that explain that there is a GOOD supernatural side, like God?

The only people having these experiences are the people who have been taught that evil exists.

Yes, there are a lot of us out here who have come to the conclusion the evil does not exist external to the mind that thinks that it is real.

You know you are exactly right. I saw this movie where a light stick chops off a guys hand and then he falls into some lava and they save him by putting him in a big black suit that will keep him alive. He ends up trying to take over the universe, but his son kills him. It was in a movie, so it must be true.
There are no demons, just imagination. We all have weird stuff happen and it is our brain and paranoia getting the better of us.

There is a good side, it is called self-reliance and open minds and free thinking. That is what made out planet so great. Not some boogeyman in the sky that oppresses us

This is just my opinion, but I'd have to estimate that over 99% of "demon encounters" are the result of a common sleep disorder -- one that many people have and don't even know about. People post experiences like that all the time on here, and just about all of them fit in perfectly with the common symptoms associated with it. They're not real demons; they're hallucinations. People insist that the images and sounds are real but they're not. They SEEM as real as anything, but it's all in your head. In fact, I think this particular sleep disorder probably explains the VAST majority of cases throughout history where people have claimed to encounter demons and other negative entities. If people knew more about it and knew what causes it, and how common it is, there wouldn't be so many people attributing these things to some supernatural explanation.

I would explain them in the same way I'd explain the Smurfs.
Make believe!
I'm an atheist and don't believe in anything spiritual, BUT--if you do, God could exist without demons and other supernatural things, and vice versa. One wouldn't be dependent on the other for existence...

I don't believe demons exist and as for the supernatural there is no empirical proof supporting that.

I haven't seen any demons or supernatural events in my life, so the same logic applies.

There could be higher powers in both the good and evil worlds. Doesn't mean it's "god"

The only demon I know of is rum. I will face that demon in about 20 minutes.

That demon from Jeepers Creepers lives in my cornfield.
