the kkk=klu klux klan, white supremists who especially hated black people, immigrants or anyone they considered a threat to white america. as a result martin luther king, malcom x and also the black panthers(non pacifists like x ans king) formed. this is black history month so the civil rights movement should be easy to locate for information. as for lynching-the kkk would whip, beat and hang in mob form innocent people, burn crosses outside of homes and intimidate blacks and others that went against them. activity was more predominant in the 60s but you will be able to find more, use your search engine with the key words you like from my explanation if it helps.

I think that the term lynching comes from either a British or Irish (Irish I think) politician called Lynch, who was spontaneously attacked and killed by an angry mob protesting about one of his policies they didn't like. Must have been a pretty bad policy! Sorry that's not much help, but is something to go on maybe...

is a form of violence, usually murder, conceived of by its perpetrators as extra legal punishment for offenders or as a terrorist method of enforcing social domination. It is characterized by a summary procedure ignoring, or even contrary to, the strict forms of law, notably judicial execution. Victims of lynching have generally been members of groups marginalized or vilified by society. The practice is age-old; stoning, for example, is believed to have started long before lapidation was adopted as a judicial form of execution.

Why don't you google the KKK? One of their members had a book written about his family.
