I've been a christian my entire life, right now i'm a college student studying business but recently i've realized even though i've stayed away from drinking/some sin/trends of my generation i really haven't seeked after god and truly put my life focused on him/his word.

Anyhow recently i've been praying/reading the word with all of my focus, and i feel like god spoke to me last night, about his judgment, and i almost felt like my stomach sank, as in i needed to preach this message to the world, that we are in the last days and we need to rise up as christians and really understand god's calling, his judgment and realize that the church/christian's are falling from his ways.

I woke up today and felt like a new man, i don't even looka t life the same way anymore, money/riches/popularity everything doesnt matter and it's just a weird feeling, i alsmot feel this urgency to go and preach this key point of his judgment but i dont know if i should go into ministry or not.

anyhow..

Why is it so important to know "Who or what created the earth" why can't everyone just except we are here and run with it?

If you could speak to Paul (from the Bible), what questions would you want to ask him? Please only serious answers.

Ok.. So I saw this and it bugged me...

God is supposed to be Omniscient, Omnipotent, and Omnipresent. (All knowing, All Powerful and everywhere)

So in Genesis 1:3 to 1:4 it says:

"Then God said, 'Let there be light'; and there was light. And God saw that the light was good; and God seperated the light from the darkness."

If you don't see what is bothering me I'll tell you. He creates light, but does not know it is good until he observes it. If that is the case then he is not Omniscient... Besides that, it would be like me building a car and then only when I'm done I go "Oh, hey.. It's a car!"

Can someone explain this to me?

I'm agnostic, not a theist.. Both theists and atheists are extremists in my view...

Your reasoning must be superb, and NONE of your propositions or facts should be subject to debate...

If you cannot prove that the Universe was made by a Non-God, you are agnostic, not atheist...

First off, we are not religious... does that preclude us from speaking about the "what if's" of heaven....anyway he wanted to know what my heaven would look like.....I could only describe a sense of peace, well being, a sense that I will have completion, no stress... just floating about somewhere watching the world below me, possibly messing with those still on earth, but for the most part just a sense of calm... Needless to say he was dissappointed in me; I got the feeling that he wanted me to describe Disneyland, and it got me thinking... how do people view their heaven?

I have never encountered a person from any other religion that thinks they need to talk to you about their beliefs, or look for any opportunity to bring it up...I think this is part of why christianity is such a failure as a religion - it allows no sycretism with other people's spiritual views, it's "my way or the highway" What do you think?

What does the entirely Islamic phenomena of "suicide bombing" prove? It proves that Islamic culture has the most successful machinery of brainwashing in the world today.

The Japense had limited success with a very very young and subset of ignorant people who believed the emperor was God, and thus the Kamikazi units were created only in Japans darkest hour. Today, as in the past, Islamic cultures produce suicide-drones like Coke makes soda.

How can they do this? Well, only by brainwashing of course, I mean, outside the random unplanned "guy who jumps on the grenade", the only was to produce this is shear brainwashing. Period.

Well, if Islamic culture is so good at brainwashing people to become suicide bombers, shouldnt we see other uniform behaviors other than suicide bombing that results from Islamic brainwashing? Sure, for example, many people report a very similar set of ritual mannerisms Muslims present. Its called "making Dawah". Its a program.
