I always go to God in prayer. The Word of God says that He knows what we need before we ask. He is just waiting on us. He does wish above all else that we prosper and be in good health, even as our soul prosper. May God Bless U.

As everyone is saying, Psalms for strength, Proverbs for wisdom. I also find the gospel of Luke great encouragement for many issues. Book of Daniel is good for strength too.
couple verses Isaiah 40:29, 31;41:10 and Phillipians 4:13 for strength

Psalm 37. Romans is also good. Remember that in all, God is in control. George Mueller the great missionary, who ran an orphanage, would thank the Lord for the victory before it would happen. Solomon who wrote Proverbs, received great wisdom from God, because he asked not for himself, but for the nation of Israel. Remember, God only chastens those whom He loves. So let Him perfect your character in all that you are experiencing. Ask Him what He wants you to learn, and He will show you.
God Bless.

Psalms is an excellent place to start it is written primarily by King David, while reflecting on challenges and victories though out his life. Also, Proverbs a book written by King Solomon is a great book of knowledge.
Also, Philipians chapter 1 Paul talks about the joy he has in his life at that time. Even though he is in Prison and faced with death. It talks about how he is able to maintain his joy by tinking about the good works God is doing through him.
I lost my son I was in the process of adopting last August. It was really hard on me and my wife. However, the Lord brought us in scripture to Psalm 77 where it talks about how in times of trial the author meditates on GOd's great works in the history. It is presented really well. It was a great source of comfort for my wife and I.
