I got a wierd phone call today from this girl that I haven't seen since last summer. I have known her as an aquaintance since 1996. She says that she is psychic and also does tarot readings.
I give work to the company that she works for so for the past year, I have been talking to her on a weekly basis through work. She knows that I have anxiety attacks and am on meds for this, she also knows that my mom is doing very well healthwise.
Now that you know a bit of history, here's what happened today.
She called me to say that she dreamed about me last night and
the dream was not good, it was very bad. So, of course, I got anxious and asked her what she dreamt and what she saw. She told me that she couldn't remember at all. The only think she knew was that it was bad and she had to warn me !
Well, needless to say I started having an anxiety attack, my daughter was kind of freaking out. I told her what happened while I was trying to calm down. I called my mom of course to see

Why didn't Jesus fly around the world like peter pan???
Why didn't he write down his teachings and give them out all over the world?

So this way people in distant lands would ALL get his message at the same time. Everyone one knows that flying is a better method of travel then walking on water.

People aren't, and it was just men like you or me who wrote/translated it, so who cares if it's got a few facts wrong (like where it says a certain seed is the smallest seed in the world but it really isn't)? It's still a great moral guide in general.. The commandments set the moral code for civilized society.

Again and again, as in Cor. 1:19 ("For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.") we are told that wisdom and knowledge are not good for us. Galileo was placed under house arrest for proving the heresy that the Earth revolves around the Sun. Today, Evolution, Plate Tectonics and the Big Bang are all being denied and villified by Christianity.

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. I am always told by others who say they are Christian that the Word is correct, and should be followed. Yet many(specially women)act as if they don't REALLY BELIEVE that. They want to follow the Word until it comes to Ephesians 5:22-24. As if it is somehow misologic and neck deep in shovanism. The Lord clearly set out the pecking order but He was also wise enough to know, if you give people power, be they boss, President, Senator, or husband, that power can be abused(everyone secretly want to be like God). What they miss(as most people)the second half, Eph 5:25-30. Don't blame the Word because many men are butt nuggets and don't follow the perfect plan(uinless you want to say God's plan is not perfect, and if not, whay are you following him?) If you were given intructions on how to put something together would you leave a part out solely because you did not like the color it was? Then why cherry pick the Word?
