i am a cristian and i'm really trying to be pure at heart. but my christian friend asked me for money so i decided to help him. i told him that i dont hav and of the troubles i am having in getting some money to him so he'll hav to wait until i have the money to help him.

before he had told me about his need for money, i had known that he was my friend to ask me for money. i know that africa is a very poor place and i do my best to help them. so ofcourse, i knew by the way he spoke to me the first time we chatted, that he'd ask me to buy him things so before he did, i told him not to ask me for stuff coz i'll hav trouble getting it. not surprisingly the next day, he begged for money. i havent given it to him yet which i plan to, but now, he's asking me for a laptop computer! and he's questioning me on why i would not buy him one.

i feel very unappreciated and used but as a christian, what should i do? i dont want to be mean yet i feel so upset.

Ok, I asked everyone about the bible, and how they think a mighty holy God could or couldnt not have perserved it how he wanted it... I absolutley think he could have, and he did, by the KJV...
For all the people who claimed, well, you can read other bibles, not just he KJV, ect ect...
My husband is the sunday school teacher at our church. He just recently surendered to preach, and he started with sunday school.
His second week doing it, my step dad actually thought he came across something that was wrong with what my husband was preaching on. The bible we use is a 1611 KJV, not a Nelson you buy at the bible store... but our church bibles are just generic bibles. So my step dad comes to my husband and told him his whole message was off, because in the scripture my husband preached on, it was about Jesus being led up the Spirit to be tempted by the devil.. In the church bible it say spirit, with a little "s". This changes the complete meaning of what my husband was preaching on.

The Rare Earth Theory (which is what people are talking about when they talk about the finely-tuned universe, predicts about 10 billion planets similar to earth and capable of supporting live and providing an environment in which intelligent life could possibly evolve.

So even if you look at it from an anthropic perspective, we're not that special.

I just asked a question:

And a lot of people mostly Christians simply answered :
" Religions are man made, not God."

But surely, if religions are manmade then so is God since we know God through religion...

Aren't they contradicting themselves?

Ps: before you answer telling me that you new God before you knew any religions then could you tell me what made you choose a religion as opposed to another knowing that they are man made?

Jesus as Jesus is within the God and God is within Jesus; Jesus also says that the whole of mankind is within these two. If so the entire mankind itself is also God. Why do the Christians then fail to understand this? Do they not believe in their own religion?

everybody mates like a animal. I go out side I get women and men looking at me with desire(must be the blond hair for the gay guys) then I'll sit down on a bench and a dog will try to hump my leg. we have the jellesy over one another, like carribo, as they fight for there mates. I see like 7 or more men over a lady drowling and theyed probovely have sex with her if they could, christians will just say must marry her first. put a female dog before a bunch of male dogs, U know what happens. marriages sucks cus people get deviorsed and go and hump sumthing eles. and not to mention most of The ones without God believe in evelotion and go to apes, they know they r animals, cus they look at themselfs, so r we animals? sorry Can't use spell check in optional? God tells Us to go multiply, kinda like go breed. Maybe there is no such thing as love. U can't even go to heaven with your mates, once Gods done using your bodys(breeding) for his worship. I belive God is a Breeder, and we r his sheep.

So is handing out condoms saying look , there used to be bad consequences for this behavior, now you can do it without any consequence, and is that likely to promote young people having sex, to be irresponsible and separate sex from it purpose and consequence.

Theists of any religion... this is a hypothetical question of (particularly) theists of a religion you don't follow and they're trying to convince you they're right and you're wrong. No matter what. They have brochures and everything. And they don't want to give up on your soul.

How would you react?

And atheists... obviously a theist of any religion could be standing there and you'd disagree with them. What would you do?

If God is good why does He permit great evils, such as the terrorist attacks of 11 September? Could He not, with a mere thought, stop all evil in its tracks, protecting lives and souls from destruction, physical or moral? Is not His goodness diminished when innocent people suffer at the hands of evil men?

Ive read alot of people on here who are claiming to be christians, but claiming not to believe the whole bible becuase of it being translated so many times....

My question for all of you is, Do you not think God is big and mighty and holy enough to perserve his word as he says he will in Psalms? Why would God make it mandatory for someone to know about him and to seek him diligently, and love him for all that he is, and not even give us the imformation we need in order to do so?

I believe alsolutley 100 percent the bible has been perserved for us in the KJV. God wanted us to have his word, and he preserved it for us. He can do miracles, but he cant stop man from messing with him word? He used men to make it what it is now. People always say "Well, those men were bad, they were non believers blah blah blah"... My answer to that is, cant God use who he wants to do his work? God doesnt have to use a saved person to do what he wants done.
