I tell them, "I'm of the Lore" and they usually say "What's the Lore.' I then say, "Well, if you come on in and promise to sit quietly and listen for two hours before asking any questions, you're welcome." They immediately demur except were they come in and then interrupt me and I can righteously oder them out for breaking their word.

And why isn't it legal to judge; 'you'll burn in hell!' a actual threat? shouldn't we be in a position to shield ourselves hostile to the verbal abuse. 'you're a sinner!" and they are on my sources? I regularly ask your self why it is that persons experience they have the right to stroll as a lot as a house in which they understand no one in any respect and knock on the door. What in the international are they wondering interrupting my day with their BS? And in the adventure that they slip and fall on your sidewalk, they are going to target to sue you for the health center expenses and damages. there is a few thing heavily incorrect with this difficulty.

I'd simply do what I have always done. I politely and firmly tell them that I have my own beliefs and am not interested in converting to theirs. I thank them for their time and effort, and wish them a good day. It's best to be polite and treat everyone with respect, no matter how irritating this may be to you. We are all human, after all, and each of us appreciates a little kindness. There's no need to be rude.

I am always polite to missionaries that come to my door, of any religion. I offer them water and a chance to sit down. I tell them politely up front that I have absolutely no intention of converting, but I don't mind having a polite conversation with them. If they insist on being contentious, I will ask them to leave.

I would politely but firmly say that I do not wish to discuss religion, and to "Have a nice day." Then I would shut the door. If they tried to stop me from shutting the door, then I would tell them to leave or I will have them arrested for trespassing.

Used to happen all the time. Where I used to live I got visits from the Jehovahs Witnesses at least a few times a month.
For the most part I just said "thanks but no thanks" and took their brochures with a smile. A few times I had conversations with them about our different beliefs, but always respectfully and politely. And honestly, I think it did all of those involved a world of good to have those discussions.

I generally treat them like salesmen, but on occasion I'll bite, and ask some questions. That's how I learned that the Jehovah's Witnesses don't believe in a fiery hell, or a cloud city heaven.
