Fact from fiction, truth from diction. I am always told by others who say they are Christian that the Word is correct, and should be followed. Yet many(specially women)act as if they don't REALLY BELIEVE that. They want to follow the Word until it comes to Ephesians 5:22-24. As if it is somehow misologic and neck deep in shovanism. The Lord clearly set out the pecking order but He was also wise enough to know, if you give people power, be they boss, President, Senator, or husband, that power can be abused(everyone secretly want to be like God). What they miss(as most people)the second half, Eph 5:25-30. Don't blame the Word because many men are butt nuggets and don't follow the perfect plan(uinless you want to say God's plan is not perfect, and if not, whay are you following him?) If you were given intructions on how to put something together would you leave a part out solely because you did not like the color it was? Then why cherry pick the Word?

Eph 5:22-24: 22-Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. 23-For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is Saviour. 24-Now as the church submits to Christ,so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

Eph 5:28 & 29: In this same way husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29-After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feed and cares for it, just as Christ does the church.
(not the whole verse, you can look that up, just the part that matters most)

When those verses are read they ARE red in CONTEXT. Submitting to one's husband has nothing to do with the fact that he works more or less than his wife. Certainly didn't see anything in there that said she should submit to her husband ONLY if he is doing equal or more work than she. That is feminizing.
