Ive been reading the S&R section to this forum for a couple days now and decided to chime in. I dont understand why so many are so immature about their belief structure, do they not understand that its this same immaturity towards peoples beliefs that is creating conflict around the world? After reading several questions about evolution and creationism. Athiest, christian, muslim ive for the first time in my life started thinking about these issues myself. I have to admit im undecided about there being a God. Ive always considered myself a believer in a God.. just not necessarly the christian or muslim one. I believe that live evolved on this planet but i have to question what made it all possible. Chance? God?.. but back to my original thoughts. It seems to me the Atheists on this board need to tone down their words a little. They are beinging to sound shrill and immature to the max. Christians are not much better..though they seem to be more comfortable in their own beliefs

in the Force? Cause The star wars saga says so, & just like the bible it's just a collection of words. If I said Lucas was inspired by the Force, just like you claim of the Bible, what would you do? Not believe me? Skepticism? Think about it with an open mind.

No matter where you go, where you live, religious establishments are almost certain to be a part of the community.

Its odd because religious people whine about "godlessness" all the time, as if the movement where overtaking the world, when the opposite is true.

Even in the "land of the free" you cannot raise your children in religious free zones.

What if communities were built with deed provisions (equitable servitudes) that tried to purge the deeded lands of religious influence? Anyone know the law on this?

Putting the law aside, imagine the possiblities! Without the narrow-minded cave-strictures of religious influence, we could once again replicate exponetial human achievement and cultural wealth like the tiny civilization of the Greeks.

Only 250,000 at its peek, and their was a genuis at every corner. Imagine today a place the size of Anchorage Alaska kicking out 90% of the worlds intellectual treasures.

I will dream on...

Christianity has not been tried and found wanting; it has been found difficult and not tried.

That God is not a creation
And does not have a creator
He doesnt have a start&doesnt have a beggining
That He knows the past,present&future.
That God is not subject to the physical world we live in
Is not evan subject to time
But that He resides outside of space&time
That God is as real as the air we breathe, but cuase He is not in the physical world,He can not be tested by physical means.
And that not only did God make the universe&life within, but also has purpose for life

Why is this stuff hard to accept?

Ephisians 2:10-For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Colossians 1:16-For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

We don't know. And we never will, none of us, no matter how much we study, no matter how much science we put into it. Why? Cause God is not in this dimension that we call life, space, etc. Already science has proven we have up to 10 dimensions. Yet we don't know a single thing in them nor how they operate or work.

So think...instead of living in 3D like we do, imagine living in 2D. Just on a flat surface, nothing has shape or form for its all flat. Now a person in the 3rd dimension (3D) puts his finger through our world. What do we see?

We see a dot in the sky that gets larger & larger and turns into a big circle. It then touches our 2nd dimensional world and passes through it and gets smaller and smaller back to a point. What can you say bout this dot and circle while living in the 2nd dimension? Nothing, for every view you have is wrong. But in the 3rd dimension, its easy to understand as you see the entire picture of whats happening. We live in 2D compared to God.

Dear Father, in Jesus name I lift up our president to You. I know that our leader's heart in Your hand, so I ask You to guide the head of our nation in the way You would have him to go.
I pray that You would give our leader discernment, understanding and knowledge so that our nation may know stability internally and abroad. In Jesus name we give you thanks, Amen
I give thanks for our president according to Your Word and thank Your for working in and through his leadership so that we might lead peaceable lives in godliness and honesty. I pray that our president may serve out his term, in good health, and with Your hand guiding him to serve out the term of his presidency

A month ago a Dog got into my car and end up following to my house door, I ended up keeping the dog, a month later a cat follows my parents to the door, now we feed the cat but let him loose on the streets but he comes back. Now today two pigeons appear in my house, one in the terrace and the other walked up to the back door and did not fly away from us like a normal one would, the last one was a black one, do you think this is like black magic or something that has to do with it?

Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer,
and though the LORD makes his life a guilt offering,
he will see his offspring and prolong his days,
and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand.

Isaiah 53:10

After the suffering of his soul,
he will see the light of life and be satisfied ;
by his knowledge [f] my righteous servant will justify many,
and he will bear their iniquities.

Isaiah 53:11

Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,
and he will divide the spoils with the strong,
because he poured out his life unto death,
and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.

Isaiah 53:12

He was despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Isaiah 53:3

But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed.

Isaiah 53:5

He was oppressed and afflicted,
yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before her shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.

Isaiah 53:7

He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence,
nor was any deceit in his mouth.

Isaiah 53:9

To be continued.
