There are many different signs of Christianity but some of the main ones are the crucifix, the fish, the dove, flames, anchor, Trinity, clover leaf or triangle, spire, yew trees, and candles.

The "Chi-Rho" emblem can be viewed as the first Christian Cross.
As a pre-Christian symbol, the Chi-ro signified good fortune. The Chi ro became an important Christian symbol when adopted by the Roman Emperor Constantine, representing the first two letters in the name of Christ- the Chi, or 'ch,' and Rho, or 'r.' According to Church Father Eusebius, on the eve of the Battle of the Milvan Bridge, the Emperor saw the emblem in a dream, with the inscription, "By this sign, you shall conquer." According to the story, the battle was won. In return for the victory, Constantine erected Christian churches. Unfortunately, this story is very unlikely, as Constantine's conversion occured on his deathbed, if at all. In any case, the symbol was the standard of the Emperor's army, prominently displayed on the Emperor's labarum, or battle standard.
Before it became the monogram of Christ, the chi rho was the monogram of Chronos, the god of time, and an emblem of several solar deities.
The Chi-ro is also the origin of the tradition of abbreviating "Christ" in "christian" or "Christmas" to "X."
In Hebrew, Chi-Rho equates to Tav-Resh. The chi rho was used in hermetic alchemical texts to denote time.

Some star symbols, even, at times in history, the current pentagram.
The Bible itself, or a likeness of it.

People with upstreched hands
The "praying hands" images

The cross was worshipped long before Jesus Christ ever came to this earth. When pagans refused to give it up then the church sanctioned it into Christianity. Only to get converts.
As I have so often said, "It is all about the money."

Not just in ancient times; it is still used.
The lamb is used to represent Jesus also
The trinity is a Catholic thing I think, and is represented by three interlocking circles
I will add more as I think of them.

Jesus died for US. Jesus took the punishment that each and all and sundry sinners are meant to have -- the main grotesque, painful, agonizing death attainable. And that death ensue ed on the pass of Crucifixion. So, the pass is a image of His death that we inventory around to remind us that, with the exception of the Grace of God, we'd finally end up there.
