When you have a child you don't know how they are going to turn out to be. Only after some time does one make his actions known. Even some God picked turned wicked. Such as the first king of Isreal Saul. We are given free will to do what we want to do. When God destroyed the people before the flood, they were all wicked and he started over. How long before mankind sinned again? Not very long.
Adam and Eve did not change God's purpose only his immediate plans. He decided that wait long enough until he has enough good people to fill the earth. It has taken this long to get enough good people to fill the earth. The wicked will not be resurrected.
Only those who are in God's memory. Even some of them will not remain good people and can later die the second death.
But eventually his purpose to have an earth filled with righteous people will be accompolished. Then there will be no need to have more babies. Isaiah 65:17 calls it making a new heavens, in other words a new government, ruled by Jesus Christ.
Then making a new earth. A cleansed earth.
Isaiah 65:20 No more babies.

God loves us he never wouldve created us if he didnt. u see God doesnt see like us he sees everything past, present, future. he loved us so much he did it ne way. he knew some (NOT ME AND HOPEFULLY NOY U) would reject the truth. think about it- say u had ONE son and u knew u would never have another would u give him up so hundreds of others would have thier sins forgiven because thats what he did. in the Bible God said to multiply and have children. also, God does NOT have the power to control our decisions he gave us freewill.

I hope this helps out if u have other questions go to church and ask a pastor or priest in person to go more in depth and God bless u.

The answer in a word is LOVE. God loves us, His creatures, enough that He was willing to make a major sacrifice on our behalf. If He changed His tune and chose to blow us all away, He would contradict His unchanging nature.
I do not believe in rebirths, btw.

Perhaps the purpose is to learn the purpose. There's this passage in the Bhagavad Gita that I don't quite remember, where Krishna is talking to Arjuna on the eve of battle, and Arjuna is saying, these are my brothers, I don't want to fight them, and Krishna says, the fight is already fought, and it is not in our nature to avoid it if it is our destiny. But we can learn from it.

That's my uneducated take on it.

Peace

I dont have the answer to your question, but still i wanted to say something on this....

i think you are talking about the western philosophy where in the belief is that this world was created due to sins. i agree that births and re-births are to complete your karma cycle but i do not agree that the creation of life on this planet is due to some one's sins - like in the hindu philosophy we do not believe in adam & eve and the start of life on this planet due to their sins.... there are other reasons given in hindu mythology/philosophy for the creation.

and for the power of destruction - and why he does not destruct everything - i think he is too intelligent to do that... he does not believe in staging a puppet show. he has created a supreme life - which is ofcourse an extention of himself. but he has created an intelligent life as well... a life which creates and carries itself. he is much more superior then creating just a computer which will run according to his programming. he has created a life form which continues on its own - according to its own decisions of right and wrongs - creates and destructs itself/on its own... i think he has given us the right to live - as per the choices we make for ourselves. we all know that he can destruct it whenever he wants - by a snap of fingers - but i think he is too just - wants to give us that chance of deciding whether we want to live or die... whether we want to live and join him to become whole again with him or be stuck in the birth and rebirth cycle...

i think he is like a mother - who loves to see her child growing - learning to walk, making mistakes, falling down and getting up again and walk again.... growing in every possible way. imagine his love for us... he likes to see us doing whatever we want to do and make our own destiny. A mother never destructs - she just creates and becomes happy to see the creation - however good or bad the child is.... with that kind of love, can you imagine he would like to destroy it all???

well, this is what i think.... it might not be the right answer....

God has the power to do anything. He gave us free will to come to him on our own to accept the free gift of Jesus who died for our sins. The gift is free but not cheap.

He created us to love Him. As such, He gave man a free will. A robot would not serve the same purpose, (which is what we would be if He omitted sin and made us all to love Him).

I'm probably unwelcome.

However,

John 3 16 says:

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son.

He doesn't destroy us simply because He loves
each one of us.

In fact God is love.
