That God is not a creation
And does not have a creator
He doesnt have a start&doesnt have a beggining
That He knows the past,present&future.
That God is not subject to the physical world we live in
Is not evan subject to time
But that He resides outside of space&time
That God is as real as the air we breathe, but cuase He is not in the physical world,He can not be tested by physical means.
And that not only did God make the universe&life within, but also has purpose for life

Why is this stuff hard to accept?

Ephisians 2:10-For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Colossians 1:16-For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Because we need to have faith of little children. That's hard for many to accept. Little children have trust without question. In a world of the "I", and to live for the "self", it seems more difficult to have such trust. Some will find it when life throws them a valley, others will wake up one morning and ask themselves:"What's the meaning of life? I've got money, fame, success, and yet, there is this emptiness inside me." Hopefully a seed has been planted and they will grow. I, for one, am happy to believe in God. Wouldn't know what to do without Him.God bless.

Simply becuase noone knows exactly WHAT is out there outside of space time and can't be tested. Some people have faith that a particular kind of God is out there and others, a different kind of God.

Many atheists (like me) just ignore God altogether in favor of calling nature itself the supreme originator or simply thinking about nothing but their personal lives (depends on the atheist just like it depends on the theist). Not really a big deal. Let's just leave each other alone. If there is an angry God up there who will punish us for honestly using what we were given than he is not worth spending time with anyway. If there is a loving God up there than he "will wipe away every tear from our eyes" that is shed in this most difficult search for universal truth. That's all I have to say about that.

They do not understand. That is why we are suppose to try and relate this to them. Not only through scripture, but in our lifestyle and actions and words. Patience and love with kind words of explanation and teaching go much further than many of the rude and hateful comments I have seen on this site. BTW, I am not referring to you, as this is the first question I have answered for you. There are many Christians on here trying to do what is right and what would bring glory to God, unfortunately, there are just as many doing the exact opposite and trying to glorify themselves. Be patient and explain. Make a friend so that you can explain.

As a christian these truths come easily but there are many who have not been persuaded. You have to pray that God will touch the individual and don't give up when He doesn't do it when you think or want Him to; He does things in His own way and in His own time. Nonbelievers know what you believe so don't preach (unless you are asked a specific question) because this often makes one rebel more.
Prayer is the key!

Praise the living God.

I've had similar questions about why people refuse to believe, and repent of their sins.
I think part of the answer is that people will not
obey God.
If a child refuses to obey their parent its because they do not love their parent.
Unfortunately with a fallen nature it is so easy to
be selfish which of course causes self-destruction.
If a person believes they have to forsake their sins, and some people, even knowing the truth, just won't do it. It is really tragic to lose one's soul as if being in this world will last forever.

have you ever heard a quote saying "you're offended while what you think of is right, is misguided?". possibly that is stressful to settle for mess united statessince you theory you will prevail yet in actuality you have been incorrect, you failed. to boot, mess united statescommonly bargains with your vanity. It can supply the experience of your self being this variety of looser, undesirable or worse than anybody else. And no person likes to experience that way. that is why that's stressful. possibly the appropriate thank you to settle for mess united statesis back into thinking which you're greater valuable than people who do no longer fail considering the fact which you study greater, and you will prevail greater.

We STILL don't understand the nature of this universe; how are we supposed to understand someone/something that supposedly lives beyond it? And keep in mind, the words you have just quoted were written by men who condemned bathing, started wars, and threatened Galileo to recant his proof that the Earth revolves around the Sun, not the other way around. In other words, their logical credentials left a lot to be desired...

Look, I'd be happy to believe it. But looking at the larger picture, it's hard not to notice some of the more obvious flaws in Scripture. Take Genesis, for example: If Cain, Adam and Eve were the last 3 humans on the planet (hey, it says so, doesn't it?), how did Cain manage to beget all those kids of his, unless incest was involved?

I'm not asking you to give up your religious beliefs. For all I know, you could be partly right. But the greatest freedom we have on this planet, regardless of government or other institution, is the ability to question. To me, people who don't use this ability usually get taken for long rides by other people who use ignorance for their own gains. But hey, it's up to you.

The Bible was written by men and therefore I will lever trust a word of it, so your quotes mean nothing to me.

If you went to a religion-free community where they have never heard of God, they would think your comments are completely insane and they would have you committed. And with good reason. It's just so ridiculous. It's so convenient that he can hide away outside time and space where we can never prove his non-existence.

You give too much credit to the human race. Are we really special enough to have a God watching over us? I don't think so.

Are you preaching in broken english again maurice?

Its very logical to create an elaborate answer to why you should not question authority - especially for the ruling class. I question. When I do that, I don't stop looking until I find an answer- which is exactly what I found.

Try this exercise: substitute the word 'science' for 'God' in your statements.
Then substitute the word 'Allah'
Now substitute the word 'Zeus'

People have believed in divine beings since the dawn of humanity. There is nothing more or less special about this belief in 'Jehovah' or 'Yahweh' or 'Lord God' or 'God the Father' or whatever else you want to call the current deity's name.

To quote the Bible to support your claim is not only ridiculous, it's infantile. No one but fundamentalist Xtians believe that the Bible is holy, or even that smart. To the rest of us, the Bible is an interesting book, to be sure, but so deeply flawed, so constantly mistranslated, so obviously written by humans that to base ANY sort of religious life on it is absurd.

One can not prove the existence of God. That's life.

Accept it.
