in the Force? Cause The star wars saga says so, & just like the bible it's just a collection of words. If I said Lucas was inspired by the Force, just like you claim of the Bible, what would you do? Not believe me? Skepticism? Think about it with an open mind.

I don't actually believe in the force, just demonstrating how absurd aliens might find our "religions" if they ever visited. Looking at a problem w/o bias helps, & really demonstrates how religion actually seems a bit ridiculous if you think about it.

You have placed George Lucas on the same literary and spiritual level as the writers of the Bible because of your biblical skepticism. Lucas's work is recognized as good FICTION. The Bible is recognized as life-changing truth that has not faded away in thousands of years.
May I suggest you view the Bible with a more open mind?

* There is truth to the force believe it or not. All life is connected and this does create a force if you will. The Force of Star ars is based on a religious belief, but I am not part of that belief, so I forget which one.*

I'm agnostic so I agree that there is an unlimited number of possibilities; however, since none have empirical proof I prefer to ignore the supernatural and focus on humanity instead.

You might get a kick out of the book "The Dharma of Star Wars" by Bortolin. Many Buddhist ideas in it that surprised me that I hadn't thought of as I'd watched those movies all my life... sigh... yep I'm that darned old.

Stars wars was made to entertain. It was never intended to be true. The bible however is the Word of God and was written to teach us about God.

In my opinion the closest thing to the force is the holy spirit. (The third member of the trinity, or as I like to call it the source of God's power on earth)
