Ahad is one of the Glorious names of Allah, and Uzair the name of a Holy Prophet of the Jews. The numerical strength is:13 and 287. Is it correct ? Is it obligatory to add prefix "Abdul" before any Name of Allah, to make it the name of a human?

OK, I'll explain:
If a Christian does "good" because he/she is afraid of going to hell or falling out of the grace of God
and
If an Atheist does "good" just to do good, because it's right and there's no fear of judgement
then

who's the better person?

There are times I know without a doubt the Lord wants me to do something. I don't hear him speaking to me audibly, but I KNOW He is urging me in a certain direction.

Unfortunately, I sometimes just feel low in energy or as if I just don't have the stamina and endurance to do what God wants, and I will sometimes just sit and say "not again" or "why me"???

Here is the problem: I know the Lord will provide us with what we need to do whatever He has called us to do. So it's obviously just disobedience or spiritual laziness on my part. I admit that, I know it's wrong, and a sign that God is challenging me with greater things, and that I have more growing to do.

Well, in the meantime, what scriptures get all of you up and moving when you're in that rut and just don't want to get going? I'm sure I am not the only one who feels this way.

I pray for energy to move, but my flesh can be stubborn and gets in the way. I do not doubt that God exists, I just lack motivation at times.

So the monkey finally got out of my chair and left me a can of root beer. I turned on the tv and was watching Nova. He hears them talking about how it actually took billions of years of evolution for each body part to fall in place.

HE FREAKED OUT! The fish came to realize that he may never live long enough to grow lungs and he keeps jumping into my pool to breath for a bit, comes out and checks on the monkey to see if there's any blonde hair yet. He's driving me crazy and my dog doesn't know what to do, just watching the this nervous fish jumping in the pool and checking on the monkey (still waiting for her to evolove into a 6ft blonde) he's acting crazy and everyone in our home just doesn't know what to do.

Any suggestions? How long would you think it can take to evolve lungs so the fish can breathe outside of water?

Have you ever seen a blonde monkey?

their religion? Are there people of certain religions that do this more than others? What if the person converts in public, but then after they get married they admit to their partner that they secretly still practice their "former" religion? Are there people who would consider this to be grounds for divorce?

The Bible says, "My servent will do according to my will in Babylon"

There will be many nations that hate Isreal because of what they see in the media provoked and projected my muslims to influence every one to join with them to hate Isreal. But God loves this nation and already promised in the Bible that, Those who love Israel will be Loved by God, but those who hate Isreal will gain God's Anger.

America knew in whom they trust, and their friendship with Isreal that is why it is a super power in the world.

how many of you like to love Isreal and gain the Love of God.

Hindusim is the oldest organized religion and a religion which was modelled is Buddhism, Buddha was Hindu.

In the History there were more Hindus and Buddhists dying because of them. There were more wars riots initiated by them.

I agree there were violence by Hindus and Buddhists but negligble when compared with them.

Spiritualism, Dharma, Meditation, Yoga was spread by Hindus.

Hinduism and Buddhism are more secular than them.

Christians help people, physically and financially, no matter who they are. What do Muslims do to help others. All this trouble about who is right or wrong in their belief, the proof is in the action. My wife is Chinese, Budhist, but we dont fight. She has started attending church with my son and I because of all the good deeds we do. We have food and clothing drives for people less fortunate, for other Countries also. When we have a financial offering we decide who it shoud go to. We help our local elderly by bringing church to them. She cant believe how nice everyone is to her. She gets more hugs at church sometimes then at home. Why doensnt an adult from any Religion, Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Budhist, whatever, look into the eyes of a child from a different Religion and and say hi, how are you, anything. See how simple it is to get a nice response and start a conversation. This is how life should be. Arent all Religions suppose to respect the children?

I am an Arab Christian (convert from the Orthodox tradition, to Catholicism...) anyhow, I have experienced mass in Arabic, English, French and Italian and have found that Arabic is the most beautiful language to celebrate mass, and for chants etc... It feels so sophisticated especially because we use Literal Arabic and not Amiyah... (Latin is more beautiful of coarse especially in hymns and chants... But I'm comparing languages that are currently used)... Even in my previous church, the Orthodox Curch, I felt that Arabic is much more beautiful than Russian or Greek…What do you think... Do you agree...

Also, have you ever experienced Tarateel al Alam... (The hymns of Lent) in Arabic- by Lady Fayrouz... My God they are the most beautiful things ever... So sad, so powerful, so great... For most people here who do not speak Arabic, or who have never heard these, I would like to share them with you. Please email me, and I can send you the links.. You will be captured instantly, by the so

I'm in a dilemma: I'm a Catholic (was baptised as a baby). However I just recently started taking religion seriously. I've been reading about the Ten Commandments and pondered about the Christian values and philosophies, and though it would help make me a better person.

Since then, I've found myself feeling more resentful towards people (including my non-religious friends and people of other faiths) and the things I used to enjoy (I was something of a ladies man).

I think the point of religon is to learn to live well, benefit the community and appreciate and love God. What I want to know is;

Which should I do:

A) Live life resenting and pitying others and living in constant fear of God's wrath, and doing good deeds under duress from prospects of suffering Hell.

or

B) Live the best I can, do good deeds out of love for people no matter their cultural backgrounds, and enjoy the harmless pleasures it has to offer. Love and respect God like a father and mediator.

We sometimes give satan and his demons more credit than they deserve, or we underestimate how firm the Lord can be when he wants to get our attention, teach us something, or protect us.

Also lack of Faith can cause disobedience on our part, when we refuse to follow the path God has planned for us due to fear, which could be the cause of our difficulties, and has nothing to do with God or Satan.

So how can we discern when our difficulties or trials in life, are caused by God, Satan, or our own disobedience???

There may be up to 400,000,000,000 stars in this galaxy, most could have planetary systems, many with life.

That's just in this one galaxy. There are over 100,000,000,000 galaxies in the visible universe.

Do religious people really believe a god that looked like a human being made the whole thing a few thousand years ago for the purpose of human beings? Honestly?

Religious people talk about the sacred the holy the grandeur of god but they seem to worship a being who for me, is too small, too ignorant, too insignificant - they seem to reject the real greatness of the universe and our tiny place in it. They talk about humility but they can't bring themselves to accept humanity's insignificant role in the universe as a whole.

Please discuss

known to be silent almost like a grave on adultery while busy attacking homsexuality. Does their action or lack thereof signify that they could be in an adulterous relationship with God?

NB. This is a genuine question. If you disagree with me you should give account of the church being so much into homosexuality but not into adultery. Then coimpare that with their relationship with their God!

Please don't be nasty about this. I don't see how being born gay can be sinful, as it is one of those things you have any control over. Its just the way you are, and its been proven that people who are homosexual have certain areas of the brain that are made up differently. Do you believe that being born like that is a sin(thats like saying someone was was born with epilepsy is accountable!), or just the act of sex? I thought love was the most pure thing in the world, and does it really matter if the people you share the same gender with are the ones that you find the most drawn towards? I don't see how any sort of love can be bad. Is it just the sex?

Gen 32:24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
Gen 32:25 When the man saw that he could not win, he struck Jacob on the hip and threw it out of joint.
Gen 32:26 They kept on wrestling until the man said, "Let go of me! It's almost daylight." "You can't go until you bless me," Jacob replied.

Now that's WWF Material!!
