I don't mean an object by that, love is also an 'it': Genderless.

How could God have a gender when according to (almost) every religion, God has no body?

Personality does not make a person male or female, only the body does. There are boyish girls and girlish boys.

Unless you are seriously speculating that God has genitalia, God is an 'it.'

I had never heard of it before a few days ago but it sounds like a breath of fresh air. I applaud the idea that religious people don't need to be scared of science or knowledge or reason.

I honestly think it's a load of bull. I can't believe 99% of the world believes in it. I'm really looking for the people here who DON'T believe in it, but I'll also take answers from people who do believe ONLY if you're explaining why so many people believe in it.

For those of you that aren't familiar with the term, it refers to the theory that we can see the process of evolution through the development of a fetus in the womb. I know that strictly, it is no longer considered valid, because many of the original ideas surrounding this theory were incorrect. However ... the underlying basis of the argument seems as if it could have some basis ... we "evolve", if you will, in the womb from a one-celled organism, to a simple multi-celled organism, to a "water-dwelling" creature with a tail ... and eventually a human being. What are your ideas and opinions?

preserve history and the sort of tribal unity in religion?

I don't think this is a bad thing, by the way, totally not. I think it's a very important thing to remember history and to preserve some tradition as well as respecting our ancestors. And community is important. The church in old societies, when everyone HAD to go, was more of a meeting place than a worship place.

I don’t blame other religious figure as Mohammed as they were just innocent tools that preach what their attention seeking ,sick gods told them to but Jesus to claim himself as God “the designer of the universe” and to tell people they can’t go to heaven if they don’t believe in him, is a little too much. I just wonder when science could figure what is going on in higher dimensions full of invisible super freaks and show people how bad they have been betrayed by them. People die for their religion, they judge, they hate each other becuz what they have been taught to believe. When are we gonna come to the end of this innocence? Are we waiting for sticking mind like Einstein to come figure the physics of magic or miracles that liars like Jesus discovered long time a go and use it to claim themselves as god? How many generation will be lost in religious hatred and judgment before science prove their theory of god for wrong?
