I think it is important to have Christ as my Savior because there is no other person or entity that can save me or mankind from their sin. Jesus, "Yeshua" the Christ, or "the Anointed One" is the Word of GOD made flesh that came to give life and that more abundantly!
Jesus is my Savior because he has defeated death and has all power and authority in his hands. Believe it or not, one day every knee will bow and every tongue shall confess that He is LORD over all.
I hope that I've answered your question accordingly; and pray that you consider calling on him to see just how mightily he can save and how much he truly loves you as well!

I KNOW that it's important -- He is the ONLY One Who can keep ANY of us out of eternal Hell.... He died on the cross in your place and in mine...to PAY for ALL our sins and our LOST condition be-cause of Adam's disobedience in selling us out to satan...and He was raised from the dead, victorious over death, hell, and the grave forever....It is by His blood ALONE that you can come to God at all.....

Christ is so beautiful. I just don't see how anyone couldn't accept him. Jesus went to that cross and died for our sins so that we could be forgiven. I'm proud that Christ lives in me!

Because otherwise you are lost and sinful. Through the shedding of His blood on the cross, He felt all our pain and sins. He even went into Hell before He rose again, and He took captivity captive. This means He gave those already in Hell as well as those on earth, the chance to accept His salvation and Heaven. Those who refused it, remained in Hell. Those of us who choose Jesus as our Messiah=[i.e. Savior of our Eternal Souls], are born again of His Spirit and Truth. We are to live as well as we can according to the Bible={i.e. His Word & Will for our lives}, and to then expect Heaven as our reward for serving Him throughout our mortal lives.
This is IMPORTANT, because without Jesus Christ being born, dying on the cross, rising again and ascending to Heaven? We would have not chance to escape the damnation of Hell for our sins. There would be no Savior=Thus, No Repentance.

he saves us from the world, and offers us eternal life, the kingdom of God, he is my refuge my strength where I turn to when nothing else make sense, he is my clarity, even though he lived more than 2000 years ago on earth what he said still pertains to today. Finally he died for me.

Your beliefs won't save you, but your actions can save others.
Stop wasting your time on prayer and worship. There are so many other uses for your time that are more beneficial to society.

i don't think it is for he was just some high dude who thought there was a good, how proposterous.
But to the churches it is so they can have more brainwashed people giving them money.

I think you should kneel at the Baptist preacher's altar and do the special incantation.
You will be spontaneously saved. And the beauty of it is, you can still sin.
You won't find a better deal anywhere, not even at the Catholic church.
Jesus said "Not every one that saith unto me 'Lord Lord' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in Heaven."
But he has since changed his mind, and he is now in agreement with the Baptists. You can say 'Lord Lord' and get saved.
Contact your local Baptist church for details, and please have your credit card ready.
