I was Mormon for a big chunck of my life so coming from my experiences with the Mormon church I don't like them because the church I attended treated my family and I very badly. All the kids my age all started rebelling from the church at the age of 16. In other words, I don't like too many of them...well, just those of Atwater first ward

People are cautious of anything that seems different. When the LDS church was originally started, many people who were against it started trying to defame it in order to suppress the movement. Many of those rumors from years ago still live in certain parts of the country.
They also have very well-defined beliefs, so people will tend to be polar about what they say.
All I know is that Mormons have some of the best-raised children I have ever met. Even if they strike certain people as weird, they are obviously doing something right, because they have the lowest teen pregnancy rates, the highest academic competency scores in schools, the lowest crime rates, the lowest divorce rates, and the highest college graduation rate (except for the Jewish community) of any religious body in the United States.

I don't think people hate the Mormons. If you had someone knocking on your door telling you that your church is all wrong and their church is "the only true church" you would be upset too.They say the Joseph Smith spoke to God and Jesus, and they told J.S that all the Churches were wrong.Can see how people want nothing to do with the LDS Church or it's people?
The LDS ask why does everyone pick on us, well that's why. Not to sound like a kid on the play ground ,but they started it.

I'm a mormon, and its becuase people hate what they dont know. They dont understnad us, and they dont want to. Which is cool. I mean whatever floats your boat.
Most of my friends thought they were going to "save" me out of mormonism. LOL good times good times.
I believe that The LDS church is the true church of god. if you dont then thats cool too.

I think "hate" is too strong a word. We have no reason to hate or dislike Mormon's as I know of.
