I guess it's because the number 444 represents something in real life you either want, or are afraid of, or you have yet to accomplish.
Or possibly that the shape of the digits "444" represents the shape of something in real life you either want, or are afraid of, or you have yet to accomplish.
Maybe you could make yourself a list of things that fit into the above three categories and it might become clearer to you.
How often/how many times have you had your 444 dream? what else is going on?

444 is the mark of Flipper the Seal. It is probably Flipper trying to convey a message to you.
