No I don't agree.
Assumptions are the windows to the world. Clean your windows every once and a while, or the light won't shine through. I find your question to be based on personal opinion rather than a well thought out sympathetic conclusion aimed at resolving a problem.

An inflated consciousness is always egocentric and conscious of nothing but its own existence. It is incapable of learning from the past, incapable of understanding contemporary events, and incapable of drawing right conclusions about the future. It is hypnotized by itself and therefore cannot be argued with. It inevitably dooms itself to calamities that must strike it dead.
Jung, Carl

Having to prove your superiority is your one tremendous weakness.

As the Milky Way was discovered to be a part of an infinite universe, so you will discover that you are a part of something larger, and just as unexplainable.

Not all are into blind belief.
Buddha, was courageous and intelligent, still went on search for answers.
Many Hindus, before buddha, also did the same.
Religion is not just a belief as many think, its more than that, even atheists can be religious.
Some beliefs show god as center of ignorance,by blindly believing and preaching holy books, actually its the opposite, its freedom. You have right to deny all religious books, and search for more rationality, but not condemn all believers.

Why, we aren't the ones that believe we are accidents of the universe with no paternity other than some hairey ape.

I mean, anyone who thinks their grandaddy was an Ape is more in need of therapy than those who beleive they came from a very ultra intellegent creator.

Uhm, that's kind of offensive.. Our faith keeps us going and believe me it's something really powerful. I've seen miracles already, I've felt miracles and that's not something a human could do. Look, it's okay to stick to your beliefs but don't trample on others. Respect what they believe because some of them depend their lives on our religion. It's like saying atheists need some psychological help and it's kind of mean. Play nice!:)

The only psychological help Christians should listen to are Christian psychologists. Now wouldn't that be running around in circles. It would be better for you to seek help.
