I was viewing one of the questions posted a short time ago and realized that some people were absolutely depressed and angry at the world. I have often encountered Christians that say that before they believed in God they were doing drugs, sleeping around, angry at the world, just being immoral in general.

I don't do any of these things, I don't believe in God. Could it be that some people can not handle the way the world is without believing in their God to the point that they would go crazy anyways? Religion seems to ease their minds, and make some of them less vicious. I am starting to doubt if I am contributing to society by trying to show that God is not plausible. It is evident that people can not handle life without believing in a God. I find it amazing because for me it is no big deal. Perhaps some people are truly only moral because their religion makes them so. That is a scary thought.

muslims and hindus have killed eachother for 300 years over this issue. there is a mosque at ayodaya and muslims claim that the mugal ruler babur built it by demolishing a hindu site where god rama was born.
but when i was in india and speaking to educated indians and they told me that none of these hindu or muslim claims can be verified through history.
but the killings and hate goes on
why so?

Contradictions, time to discuss contradictions.

Evolution.

From my understanding of Evolution, it means to adapt...or something along that line. Survival of the fittest, adaptation blah blah blah.

Now there was that other guy that says if we all are from Adam and Eve, why do we have different races and such?

Okay so regarding evolution adaptation on this, let say there's a population of people in Africa. Africa as we know is really hot, their position on this Earth had put them closest to the sun. Their bodies begin to adapt, they'll have dark skin because of the milano needed to take in the sunlight. The colour of their skin is the result of years under the sun for many generations. Same like why the chinese are fair and so is the european.

That is adaptation,

In a sense,

Evolution?

....Okay even I lost myself while talking, so.....comments?

I mean regarding maintaining a strong body, a virile face (with a long and broad beard), to be jealous and caring for our females, to fight back the aggressors, to show contempt against those who declare enemity to us, and even to engage in wars in all circumstances against those that wish harming us.

Even in appearance: The wearing of a huge beard, dressing properly like respctful men, the prohibition of wearing gold and silk,
the encouragement of marriage at a young age,..etc

Has not this led to the fact that strong Muslims have appeared far more virile than the others? Has not this captured the respect and admiration of others and even encouraged others to follow our paths and accept our faith?

I deeply believe so, and if we follow the rules of our religion sincerely, we shall achieve the supremacy of this world in a very short time indeed.

would largely consist of the only Christians who call themselves an army, the SALVATION ARMY!
And that they would only be fearsome by beating their tambourines, strumming the guitars, and ringing their bells on streetcorners. How scary would that be?

Before I became a christan I was the worst sinner out.I had two abortions, got drunk at night clubs and pubs every weekend, I would yell abuse at people who I did not like and stick my finger up.I would listen to ACDC and all those horrible bands, got drunk all the time when I was pregnant, into star signs, charged with fraud etc. had my kids removed from me, mate I was a shocker Now the only sins i have to worry about is my sometimes temper, sometimes swearing, although I have improved a lot, as every second world was F this F that, and now it may be once per month I may use that word, but I still do not put up with crap from any male or female on this earth. My sister helped me to come to Christ. She never gave up on me when I was struggling with my faith. Anybody else would have then. But only and only by the grace of God she did not give up, and now I am saved, I wasn't before.I got baptised in April 2005, and now love Jesus more than anything, so Christans if I can come to Christ,

Every 'monotheistic' religion has more than one spiritual entity to explain why their god is perfect and the blame for everything bad is on the creation not the creator, the artist is not to blame when his painting sucks... To believe in a bunch of angels and demons is the same as believing in a whole bunch of spirits and/or Godforms. How many religion believe only in one spirtual entity that is responsible for all of creation good and bad?

Does the painting really suck so bad that we have to invent opposition to keep the artist blameless? Or maybe it was a group effort and that's why everything don't seem to add up? Maybe there is no artists and we are the artists creating the god(s)?

All during history people have put their faith in books like the bible and the koran which were written by manipulative men to control the masses.Hoping to give them a set of values to live by so their societys would be more productive.
I don't think GOD cares if you are christian, muslim, jew, atheist or not.
Religions are the reasons why Man will soon destroy the beautiful planet GOD made so his creations could thrive in peace.
