The name of Jesus is a hybrid name that was put together by christo-pagans, NOT by YHWH and NOT by Torah Observant followers of Yeshua. The name of Jesus exemplifies the seduction of Greeks back into the all too familiar Hellenistic icon of Zeus.
Pronnounced hey-zeus as Europeans still do.

Let's face it, a Greek person who follows the Jewish Messiah is not going to be very popular among their own people, therefore the early christo-pagans syncretized their own paganism with the Jewish Mashiyach, and smoothed the road.

SO....His name was Yeshua. Jesus is NOT a Holy name.

What does Yeshua mean in English then, if its not Jesus??

I'll post it in 5 minutes for good of all who wish to be saved...only by His name can you be saved, and His name isnt Jesus. I encourage you...Pray sinners prayer but call Him Yeshua. Watch your life change!

And who in their right mind would spank children with a 'rod', much less have thousands of followers agreeing that this is for the best. If the last generation felt they were raised right, they would continue it.. the fact that people are trying new methods of raising their kids shows that they were not comfortable with how they were raised.

Bull! You already know what would happen... all the Christians would post in the Atheism category, and all the atheists would post in the Christian category.

Nobody is interested in preaching to the converted. We all want the same thing.. to ram our respective viewpoints down other people's throats in the most clever, rude, (and on rare occasions intelligent), ways possible.

I'm curious about this. In Christianity, does Satan control everything about hell? If so, wouldn't it make God angrier if Satan made hell more island resort-ish? This is an honest question. Not trying to be funny. I don't mind taking a "according to the Bible, that's not possible." Just curious.
