you had spent 1000 years writhing in pain in a lake of fire?

please realize this is a hypothetical question, and so saying 'this would not happen to me because i love god' or something like that is not an answer to the question.

Honestly, I'd be cursing.
That's what happens when you are thrown out: there will be cursing and gnashing of teeth....

You have a senseless hypothetical question which can never happen, unless you are the devil because that will happen to him soon. But he already screwed up in the way that he doesn't love God now, because God has already judged him and sentenced him to the 1000 years in the lake of fire and even more. Personally though, with my relationship with God, I would still love Him because He has proven Himself faithful to me. If it could happen to me, I know His Grace would be sufficient for me, and that is all I need to know. I also know that If it did, He would make it all worth while for me because He id a good God. PEACE!!!

I do believe God is all loving, and in my heart I don't believe he would allow me to burn 1000 years in pain. Why would he do that?

My answer to your queestion is simple. Any God that would punish mortal sin with eternal damnation is an insane, unmericiful, evil, God. I do not accept that such a God exists, and if this God does exist, you can count me as an opponent. That type of God is not compatiable with morality and decency. The belief and faith in such a God is destructive, immoral, and frankly evil.
