I'll be attending a newborn's christening (Danish protestant church) and would like to know if there is a dress code for such event. Must I wear only white or any colors will do? Must I wear modestly? i.e cover my arms and legs? Can I still attend if I have my period on that day?
They are Danes, by the way.

So ive been reading up on the Muslim belief lately, and let me get this straight..... To become a Muslim you must first, Shave your arm pits and pubic hair, and it must remain shaved every 40 days? You may only eat with your right hand? There is no flirting, premarital sex or hugs of anyone except immediate family? When fasting, having sex breaks the fast? you must never allow dog saliva on your clothes? And no matter what the crime, murder, violence, bombs you are "sinless" when you become Islamic?

Forgive me, but i live in reality, the now, I dont live in a cave and dont have to pump water outside to have a shower, and i dont live 2 centuries ago....but what kind of sh*t is this? This seems like some old fashioned BS. Why the rules? And why take the quran out of context? Ive read that by murdering other people, its ok because Allah says so to defend him?

I live in 2007, not the year 007. Murder is unacceptable no matter what, even if someone said allah sucks. Murder is Murder!

we all know that humans evolved through billions of years of evolution.animals evolved much the same way as humans.there is proof all over this world.we have fossils that carbon date back years and years.we as humans can not deny this.
my question is.........if this is proven and a fact,how come the bible does not mention any of this?the bible says God created man in an image of Hisself.then He created woman from the mans rib.then so on and so on.this is written.how come it is not written in the bible that there was dinosaurs and cavemen?do christians just try to make us believe this,because they refuse the dinosaur theory and the big bang?
this is a serious question.i am not putting the bible or God down.i am just curious as to what other people think.and to see if other people agree with me.

say some one dreamed of prophet Muhammd when he was young, and again dreamed of prophet Muhammad at his 20's ? and when he double check his description, actually it was him.

this a serious question please. tell me more about seeing prophet Muhammad in dream, as i have read somewhere that whoever saw prophet Muhammad in his dream, he saw him in real as satan can't pretend to be him.

When God speaks about the end times and how many will be blind and speak foolishly. Can you see those very lines before us in the present day?

I was an atheist when younger, and even we didn't bash and lash out like they do today. At most we just steered clear of the christians. But today they rant and lash out so blindly and with so much ignorance and lack of education to back it up. Almost to the point of hate and the desire to hurt, maim or to kill.

Can you see the words of the book coming true as I do?

I wasn't ever taught about religion or anything like that - I've always known, since I was a little girl, that there are angels. I believe in a God/Higher Power 'cause when I was in rehab I saw a sign from Him letting me know that he was there to reassure me. At any rate, where is God when I cry? He's not here to wipe away my tears or hold me and comfort me.

I know that God can't physically be here with us.. But if he does love us, or care about us - why doesn't he send us an angel that will wrap their wings around us and comfort us?

Everyone I thought were my friends and family have ignored me and treated me like I'm nothing, worthless. It's hard to keep faith alive when I pray and hope for the best --- all I get in return is complete nothing.

There are only so many tears you can cry before it drains the light from your eyes.. And there is only so much pain a soul can bear before it dies inside.

My grandma happened to mention to an acquaintance of hers that I don't wear shorts, but will wear pants, skirts, skorts, and dresses. When she told the woman this, she asked my grandma, "Is your granddaughter a Christian girl?" When she learned I wasn't, she said, "Well, she should be.
