I'll be attending a newborn's christening (Danish protestant church) and would like to know if there is a dress code for such event. Must I wear only white or any colors will do? Must I wear modestly? i.e cover my arms and legs? Can I still attend if I have my period on that day?
They are Danes, by the way.

Thanks!

I'm not Danish, but I think the rules are generally the same. Dress modestly - any color is fine. Your arms and legs do not need to be completely covered, but don't wear a super-short skirt - it is a church after all.

Whether your're getting your period makes no difference - of course you can still attend!

Stay away if you have your period. No one will be able to sit on the pew for seven days after.
