are somehow retarded and unable to understand or comprehend? Like those who disagree are the retarded step-children of humanity or something? I don't mean any disrespect by this question, but there was a question a little while ago where someone stated that people who pointed out inconsistancies in the bible just didn't "understand" it.

If anything, I think people who point out inconsistancies in religious texts not only read very closely, but bring up interesting points and those who use the "You just don't understand" argument are trying to get out of explaining it. If someone doesn't understand, why don't you explain it rather than just saying, "You just don't understand..."

are they defending their positon of disbelief or are they really trying to say God does not exist. i mean if you defend your position to not believe, then it would indicate there is God, and if there truly were no God, then the argument would be pointless because there would not even be anything either side could argue. But if you say you don't believe then that really means that God exists, and you choose not to believe it. So which is it, your position of disbelief or that there is no God?

as is taught by most religious leaders today, then what is the point in the resurrection? Think about it! The resurrection promise is clearly in the Bible. So when do you think the resurrection would take place if the dead person would either go to heaven or to hell right when he died?

Since time began, billions of people have died up to now! They are all waiting to be judged. We, meaning you and I, join those waiting. And we are judged for every day we lived. I was feeling very depressed and hurt because my gf broke up with me i was going to marry her and thinking about all the dumb mistakes i have made. i was so dark and lonely in my room and all of a sudden i turned on a radio the songs called moving on up it touched me this is a sample of the lyrics

I seem to have offended quite a few of you guys tonight, i think when i said militant athiests everyone read something different - I seperated the small minority from the majority to see if anyone else thought the same. I could have said similar about militant chrisitian fundies (different from normal fundies) who say everyone who doesnt agree with their brand of God worships the devil.

How about we agree everything got misunderstood and carry on as normal (please don't let the 'militant' ones shoot me lol)

When Kings James was a Homosexual among other things.
I dont how the bible says not to be gay and you put a Gay man's Name on the front. Not only was he Gay but he changed the bible. So how does this work? Thou shall not be gay but its ok for thou to learn from Gay people.

(This question is directed at those parents who actually DO prevent their child from learning evolution).
Doesn't your child have a right to learn about both sides of the argument and make THEIR OWN DECISION? Isn't is wrong to force your own beliefs on them by keeping them ignorant?
Do you feel that you have the right to deny your child their own choice?
It's not good enough to say that you think evolution is a lie and therefore you are going to deny your child the right to unbiased knowledge.

Don't say the Qu'ran it was handed you form Muhammad.
I know I have asked before...I am still waiting...Dont say the words of the prophets because you and I both know you are refering to the words of the Qu'ran which comes from Muhammad.

Now does a single truth exist that did nto come from Muhammad?
Is Allah not in submission to this sinful man if he has not one truth or word that is not passed through this man?

If Allah chose to deny Muhammad what vessel would he use to do so? Does this not make your God in submission to your prophet?

Some translations of the Bible went further to say Jesus went there to let the souls already there that He has defeated death or something like that. What and who's souls were already there when no one has been judged yet ? Why did Jesus descend into hell even if no one was there?

If Jesus' whole point was to die so we could all be saved.Why did he spend so much time trying to teach us love, peace, understanding,not judging others?And why do so many people think everything is fine and dandy, no matter how you act?As long as Jesus is your savior? Do the teachings mean nothing?Even if you don't believe in God.The teachings are how all of us can have a wonderful life.If we all tried to live that way.

I would love to see her behind bars. She willingly admits to indoctrinate kids by any means necessary. She is a sick woman with a sick ideology. I just can't understand how our laws let this woman continue to preach around children.
