In other words, are you living your dreams?

Partially....I grew up in the country in another state. I adored animals, but my biggest passion was for horses. I was never allowed to have an animal, and used to get grounded for sneaking out of bed at night and bringing stray kittens in from the cold. My mom would come in to wake me for school, and find a herd of kitties under my covers. I know....too much information. ;)

30 years later, I live 15 hours from where I grew up, but am back in the country where I've spent the past 20 years rescueing abused horses. My best reward for that is that I am now raising my dream horses...Andalusians.

I guess I have to say my life has turned out as I envisioned, though it wasn't an easy journey, but well worth the lessons and strife to get to here. And I count my blessings daily.

I remember as a child there was a time when I would have listened to my parents. Unfortunately, my parents were not able to give me more guidance. So as a child I never had a plan to do anything bad or unhealthy. But, these things happened anyway sometimes. So in a way, I am not living the life I envisioned as a child.

On another hand, I have come around in years and am now understanding things I had trouble recognizing during my younger years. I am hoping this decade 2000-2010 will become more and more sucessful. I had some very serious set backs this time. But I am feeling so much more encouraged than ever before that I can remember regarding my adult years.

No. I've fallen just a little short in my professional life, but overall it's going fairly well. Mostly I'm disappointed in my personal life. I thought I'd be married with kids... the yard with the white picket fence, the whole bit. Now I'm not sure if that is part of God's plan for me.

I never had the chance to envision, or to be a kid for that matter. Now that I am older, I am however helping my children to be able to envision, while I am also envisioning my life i will have when my kids grow up............how sweet it will be...........

No because some of the people I envisioned still being alive, aren't.

Somewhat, but life is difficult. As children, we are sheltered and view life differently than an adult with responsibilities and demands.

Bottom line, I love my life.
