Why is it that the gay people are being offended when God said it himself in the Bible.. yet you are in the church teaching them about God????? And to Jessica queers do not make it to heaven perhaps you need to read it again and to correct you about straight people if they hate then they will not make it either for GOD is love...P.S. I am NOT judging just asking a question here.

Because they have picked and chosen the parts of the bible that they do want to follow and left all others out. Its very sad. This is not their law its Gods law and he will see to it they they not inherit his Kingdom if they do not follow every word.
All the gays are doing is wasting their time and putting on a show to try to lead others on to believe that "they are still good people". You will hear that a lot!!! And you'll hear the whole "homophobia" thing a lot!!!

did you forget that the bible only mentions ONE abomination for gays and MORE THAN 15 for straights? oh yea...and did you also forget that the bible was writting by MAN, and REWRITEN various times....by man. I think (as well as many others) that God has a lot more respect for gays who LOVE rather than straights who HATE. Instead of living your life based on a book that a group of guys wrote, why not let God decide who goes to heaven or not.

Dont get all offended. I'm not some type of heartless f*g, i actually believe in God, which is why I know ur wrong. queers go to heaven asshole.

You said it! It is because these people (and the churches they belong to) have rejected the authority of the clear teachings of the Bible.

i think it is a little odd to lead a gay lifestyle but at the same be very religious when, as you said, there are passages in the bible that directly forbid it. However, straight christians sin every day (lying, gossiping, etc) and those sins are forgiven so I suppose choosing to be homosexual will be forgiven as well. after typing that i also remembered that to be forgiven by god, we have to present ourselves to him being truly sorry and hoping to not repeat that sin again. i dunno, but it is a good thing for anyone to find god so that's great for them. sorry my response was so conflicted.

I think so. At least the Catholic Church does not say it is o.k. to openly pursue a gay lifestyle with homosexual acts (every denomination has their Judas' though). whereas the Methodists, the Lutherans, and the Episcopalians all do

Guilt.
Secrecy.
Peer-pressure.
Community.
Forgiveness.

Those things are very appealing for people who think there's such thing as "sin".

The concept of "sin" has done more to destroy life than any other concept.
