Do you mean to say and do you assume that if the bible is false that automatically means there is no God.

Ever heard of different dimensions? I beleive that God is not as far away as you think, not across a galaxy at all.
I however can understand why you dont relate to the bible. I only beleive the part of it that is actual history. I don't buy into all of it either. More than I used to though.
I think the main thing about the bible is to read it and decide for yourself what you beleive and what you dont. There is always something you can learn by reading it though. Just keep in mind it is not written in order to scare you into being a certain way. Although some religions beleive this. Just take from it the things that speak to you, the things that don't are meant for someone else. That's how I look at it.

I think it difficult to answer your question when you see the Bible as inaccurate or incomplete therefore, on what could an answer be based? It is almost like you are stating something about your disbelief as compared to really asking something. But here goes, It is true that there may have been other books that were omitted from the King James version of the Bible and that sometimes things are changed or lost during translation process. Many people question this today and mostly people follow their sense of truth or reality. If I may use an old saying if you don't believe in something that gives you purpose and hope and wisdom and knowledge then you fall for anything. I guess I am liberal in my thinking concerning the Bible because each person is going to see it as they choose. Let's say for a moment you saw it as truth, well people will still choose how to study and interpret it in many different ways. Perhaps what you are wondering is how a God of love can judge and or punish those He loves? In that case we would in a sense bring judgement on ourselves by refusing to obey the Word of God that is legalistic and does not portray love or mercy or grace which are what Jesus Christ gives us thru His shed blood on the cross. If you believe the Bible then study it till you truly understand. If you don't believe it , nothing anyone says will make sense to you if they believe and you don't. There are others who say the same as you and agree. My concern for you and them is what if you are wrong? Would you be willing to stand before God and give account to Him? This is only my opinion, if one does not have faith in God or His word then you may never really give it a chance. Seeking truth or Christ is personal, how bad do you want to know? I personally feel that churches in general fall way short of showing God's love to the world in general and behaving as Jesus did and do not easily entertain strangers or their needs but that does not mean I don't believe church exists or that it could not be good. It just needs way more love and compassion for others. As far as God flying down well I think He fills the whole of creation with His glory and love. People find answers, when they seek them and each learns what they relate to or not. Your truth or reality will mean something somewhat different from others I personally believe in God and the Bible because I tried it and it remains steadfast for me. You have to find that for yourself or not.

interesting that you say shift as the Bible does say that the heavens will roll apart like a scroll....sounds like a space shift to me....so a little Freudian slip and we see what you really do believe. Good question.

I hope you don't die in your own fog !!!
Colosians 2:
8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

There's nowhere for you to run, nowhere for you to hide. You will be judged and there's no escaping it. That's just the way it is.
