(This question is directed at those parents who actually DO prevent their child from learning evolution).
Doesn't your child have a right to learn about both sides of the argument and make THEIR OWN DECISION? Isn't is wrong to force your own beliefs on them by keeping them ignorant?
Do you feel that you have the right to deny your child their own choice?
It's not good enough to say that you think evolution is a lie and therefore you are going to deny your child the right to unbiased knowledge.

They have no interest in learning about science. They have found a book that they want to be their source of knowledge. They aren't going to just start accepting evolution just because it is science.

My kids learnt about the theory of evolution and they still are Christians. What is this idea that parents do not have the right to raise their kids according to their beliefs? This is a free country. God help us if the government ever steps in and starts telling parents that you can't instruct your children in your faith. Are you going to tell you kids that evolution is only a theory or are you going to make them bow to science even if it is wrong. Maybe the government should stop you.

Let me start by saying we as parents have the sole right to decide what is in the best interests of our children untill they become adults that is the way it has always been since the beginning of the human Race so what I teach or dont teach them is solely my own concern and not your buisness but to answer you petty paranoia I teach them the truth that we were CREATED by God and some peopled have been fooled or tricked by a bunch of misguided people thatthey think we came from apes or some other nonsense which has been scientifically disproven in more ways that I care to mention and the whole concept has been proven a gigantic fraud and some scientists disciplined for faking so called evidence and moe so as they can understand and relate to the material and to tell them some teachers in school may teach that because they have to but many do not believe in it themselves so when told such things ask for proof and untill absolute proof is given dont believe in that fantasy fairy tale and other silly nonsense learn to think for yourself dont let anyone con you ect Gorbalizer

Using your logic we should be teaching Creation in the public schools ...thanks for agreeing with us Christians...finally.

However...you have this intolerant attitude among most evolutionists that you have a right to force your theory on other people's children...
Now you see why it is getting NOWHERE?
