I was feeling very depressed and hurt because my gf broke up with me i was going to marry her and thinking about all the dumb mistakes i have made. i was so dark and lonely in my room and all of a sudden i turned on a radio the songs called moving on up it touched me this is a sample of the lyrics
I was lost but now i am found u made a beliver out of me i am moving on up now out of the darkness my light shines on my light shines on my light shines on

Hi, i agree with the first poster... The Lord can use anything to speak to us..He used a donkey to speak to Balem, lol..
Listen to your heart, you probably already know the truth.
Maybe moving on up means you are learning from those dumb mistakes you say you've made and are now moving into a better place. Hope so anyway...all the best...

Jesus is reaching for us, caring for us, protecting us even before we are saved. Your question proves that you are looking for Him also! You are blessed! Now is the time that you should fulfill the purpose for which you were created!!
Acts 2:38 says that we can be free from our sins by baptism (by immersion) in His name. Then He will give us His Spirit (the Holy Ghost) with the evidence of speaking in an unknown language. To help us overcome our sinful nature. And then we can fellowship with Him on a daily basis. That is totally awesome!!!!

So now every time I'm sad and something happy happens, ever, it must be God! Today I was hungry, but then like magic, I found a McDonald's and was fed! Praise the Lord!
This mythological figure called 'God' is all-powerful. If he really wanted to convince you of his existence, he would walk into your room and tell you to cheer up. He's all-powerful, so this would take literally NO effort. Anything else is just you trying to turn coincidence into divinity. Sorry.

I think He did.
I was passing though a difficult decision between choosing one of two guys who have told me they truly love me, so i asked god to show me the way and to tell me who was being sincere and who didn't really love me. A couple of days afterwards i found out that the first one had a daughter with another girl. He had cheated on me two years ago while we were going out and he never told me anything. Plus, he had a picture in his cell of the mom of his daughter. He denied having a baby and that made me mad. I thank god for showing me he was not meant for me because he wasn't being sincere. I really thought the second guy was not meant for me. God is awesome

Sure! God uplifts us through songs for sure! And if you felt that was Him speaking to you, and felt the Holy Spirit really comforting you, then by all means, know it was the Lord reassuring you that He is all that matters and that He has a plan for you--and to continue seeking Him in all things.

God uses pretty much anything to speak to people...so it was probably him that gave you that sign,however i cant say if it was or wasnt because i am not you only you will know.

A happy coincidence. : ) I think sometimes stations change antenna direction and it affects the signal, at least that is what I've heard.
