Read the Quran. It says that infidels are to be killed. In Muslim faith, anyone who doesn't believe, all unbelievers, are worth nothing. They hate Christians and Jews. They hate what America represents. Wealth. Capitalism. Freedom. That is a fact, they do hate that, and even the so-called "moderates" still live by what is written in the Quran, and the Quran is very explicit about their god and what that god wants (just like the Bible). Just because they're moderates doesn't mean that their faith is not dangerous, just like a "moderate" Christian is no less dangerous for having a warped view of reality. Watch who you ask these questions, because both groups lie, and they both glorify martyrdom, and believe in a reward in the afterlife.
Do you think that all of the people who danced and shouted for joy in the middle eastern streets on 9/11 were "extremists"? Go look up the videos for yourself. These are "ordinary" Muslims, rejoicing in the deaths of thousands of Americans. Actions speak louder than words.

Don't forget those who gave their lives attempting to restore freedom to the citizens of Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan in more recent years. Many Americans consider our government and especially the President as clueless traitors pursuing their social justice/democratization agenda (instead of republicanizaton) without a thought to the sacrifice of those who came before. However, your numbers don't add up to more American dead than the Vietnam War, but your point is taken, anyway.

Think of it this way: Christians have exreamists that want Muslims dead, and Muslims have extreamists that want Christians dead. The key word is extreamists, and extreamists do not speak for an entire population. They speak based on their biased up bringing.
So to awnser your question, NO! Muslims are very kind and loving people, they do not want americans dead.

Not all of them, but even if it is only ten percent, that is still over 100 million that want to kill Americans.
And it is a lot higher percentage that want kill Jews and that is not the Jewish government.

What Muslims hate is not Americans, they hate Christians (not all Muslims, obviously, just the fundamentalists). Just like fundamentalist Christians (such as our president) hate Muslims, and adherents to any other religion.
