Has anyone here seen the movie Jesus Camp?

Question

I would like to know if any of you here have seen this movie? Christians, Non-Christians? Opinions? Has anyone on answers come from a Church or group that is similar to the one featured in the movie? I myself felt very sad inside because I used to be just like thoes Children.

I watched it last night. I was sent to Jesus Camp as a kid. It was horrible, but I didn't know any better. I pretended to speak in tongues because everyone else was doing it.

Today I am a proud and happy atheist. But it was a long journey from there to here.

I haven't seen the film but have recently read an article on the same woman and the Christ Triumphant Church. It also talked about the Extreme Prophetic Conference for kids. I saw photos of the children chanting/dancing and lying on the floor - it was really disturbing! If these people weren't calling themselves Christians, I'm sure this behaviour and treatment of children would be considered abuse. People can get away with an awful lot in the name of religion.

I think this movie is important because it should teach us how not to raise our children. It's one thing to have your set of beliefs but this is extreme. They talk alot about how muslims are just as crazy but 2 wrongs don't make a right. Loved the clips on your site!

I really wanted to see it because it looked scary. Unfortunately the only place they were showing it was over 100 miles away. I figure eventually they'll show it on cable.

I have not seen this movie? I have been meaning to but I haven't been able to find it. I have checked walmart and best buy but no luck.

Cool movie. It has that fanatical preacher in it who was caught visiting a gay prostitute over 50 times and would smoke methamphetamine with him during sexual romps.
