I think they would like that. They really just want to preach not discuss or have their religious fantasies challenged.

No. And you are wrong. Many have on the other hand asked for separate sections for the different religions. Why do people with no religion or spirituality at all try to run the spiritual and religious out of the section devoted to them?

Christianity is not the only religion in the world so that would not be fair. Buddhism is a religion so it should be in this section even if they do not believe in a Supreme Being. But atheism is not a religion so why should atheists be in this section? When everyone agrees that it is a religion by all means let's have atheists here.
I don't mind atheists challenging religious beliefs in RSS; what I mind is when atheists answer religious questions. In fact, many atheists answer religious questions even when they are requested not to. What is your motive? In the first place why should you answer those type of questions when you do not believe in God? In plain language you are just being rude; your opinion is not even being solicited.
Have a nice day!

No. Just read the questions....most are posted by non-Christians to inquire of different belief systems. There are some questions posted directly to Christians, but the majority of those are from non-Christians trying to get a rise out of us.

Just look at the questions and you've got your answer.
The atheists are the bullies on this site. They constantly call Christians idiots, mindless sheep, morons, empty headed, etc. Yet, they never seem to direct questions at Jews (who believe in the Bible's first testament...which they call the Torah) or Muslims. Nope, it's always, "Christians, why.......end with name calling"

Why do you say that? There's more Atheists here than Christians most of the time. There's lots of Muslims. Even the FSM is represented!

I give another "Amen" to the first answer!

Its quite simple. Those whose faith is weak need a constant reminder of their faith (i.e. Ten commandments monuments in schools and public places), and can't be near a dissenting voice. They need the government and all other institutions (including businesses) to legitimize only their beliefs and no one elses ("Merry Christmas" instead of "Happy Holidays").

Otherwise, they might figure out they're beliefs are either wrong, or at minimum wrong for themselves, and become backsliders.

I don't think so, but of course we think we understand what needs to be done, so we would like a little respect from "the great unwashed" who haven't bothered to study Scripture, and so have very little idea about what truth is.
