I have this neighbor who was a nun before and was promoted to serve in the Vatican. But she went home because of what she discovered. There is a particular room where newborn babies were thrown out after the delivery of nuns that got pregnant. Not all priest are gays but how about their physiologic need, their arousal. As it is says " no smoke cannot be escaped by your hand". We also heard controversies about priests. How much more ..............

I believe in jesus, but how do I put religion first in my life when i am more spiritual then religious, plus i have kids to take care of which one has problems, i have a husband deployed in Iraq that i am always worried about which means i have everything to take care of on the homefront by myself, I have college classes online and i have to work real hard to get straight A's and I am so exhausted. I want to go to church but i am just physically and mentally exhausted. I support people that normal christians would be against because I gerenerally care about people and can not be against them. So what do i do? HOw do i have time to put God first? Is everything i am already doing is putting God first by doing Gods work? I have friends that need help on a daily basis as well that depend on me. advice please i am so darn lost.

Its the nearest "condensed" confirmation I've ever seen.

Its from a talk by a guy called Ken Miller. (Don't worry the link is just a talk with a slide presentation and the clip is less than 5 minutes long).

This was originally posted by somebody who appears to have been kicked off Y/A. I hope the same thing doesn't happen to me!

Now what I like about the clip is this is an evolutionist who uses evolution to make a prediction about the world and then tests that prediction in full knowledge that if its not as expected his theory is in trouble.

Does anyone have any similar predictions (ie potential falsifications) that have be made by either Creationists or ID adherents? Have they been tested?

"For Lazrus died, and the Angels carried him to Heaven to the bosom of Abraham.
"And a certain rich man lay writhing in agony in Hell, and he looked up and beheld afar off, Lazarus nestled in Abraham's bosom,
"And he called out 'Have pity on me and come and but dip a Q-tip in water and drip it upon my tongue!'"
"But Abraham answered and told him that the gulf is wide and no one has ever bridged it.
"And the rich man writhed and gargled in the agony, and the pain, and he had worms, and he itched and could not scratch, and hideous sores upon his face oozed ganglions of wriggling Leipitid larvae, and he burned and rotted and the pain was grievous and there was no end to his torment."
"But Lazarus was nestled in the bosom of Abraham, and he smiled and yawned, and and murmured softly to Abraham: 'Father Abraham, I beseech thee, tell me a bedtime story.'"

in the span of twelve hours, what do you think will happen to the tone of my questions?

It's true, after reading a ridiculous number of stupid statements last night about evolution, the big bang and abiogenesis, I realized that belief in God is at times characterized by complete ignorance of reality.

When I woke up this morning I began analyzing my own view of the universe and discovered that those things that made me most likely to hold the opinion that a god exists are the things I understand the least academically. Based on past experiences, I have reason to believe that if I understood them better in an academic sense, I would probably flush the notion of god.

So my opinion has flipped from a 55/45 opinion that there probably is a god to something like 75/25 that there probably isn't and that most likely, some other explanation for existence will be found.

Ironically, this morning was the day the 'Report Abuse for Jesus' crowd finally had my account waxed.

I want to get fire insurance against hell liability. I have no way of predicting the future or what is beyond life so I have to be careful to get all my bases covered.

I am unable to believe in Jesus and the Bible so I started smoking lots of weed in order to alter my beliefs. Problem with weed is, you gotta keep smoking it or the affect wears off. Also, I can't drive while I'm high. What if I get killed in a car accident and then get sent to hell?!

I need somekind of drug that will permanently alter my brain chemistry. Any ideas?

Note: I am completely serious, I am not trolling. Thanks.

I read a previous message by someone who stated their Church stresses exercise and correct diet to become stronger spiritually. Yet there are terminally ill people who remain faithful and resist temptation, so what do you think of the idea that fitness and healthy eating is a requirement to grow spiritually? I'm sure it's helpful, and as humans we need balance in both areas, but there are plenty of fit people who serve the Devil.

Some people just like to argue. They may not even know what they believe, but they like to find questions by Christians just so they have something to argue with, or so they can make someone angry. I hate arguing. But I like hearing what other Christians have to say about things. I thought that I knew what to say to the devil, but I"ve learned a lot from reading what other Christians have to say on yahoo answers.
