It does promote it, but I don't know to what extent it's the central theme. I do know that Islam's radicals practice it, and the non-radicals go along with and don't speak out against it.

It really is not a "religion of peace." Notice the people below trying to say that. Ha!

Yes and Yes, either you are a Muslim or you are a infidel, punishment for being a infidel is death, Catholics are like this also, either you are a Catholic or you are a heretic, punishment for being a heretic is death, Mormons are this way also, either you are a Mormon or you are a apostate, punishment for being a apostate is death. The Catholics and Mormons have been brought under control (Feds) but the Muslims are still totally fanatic about it. All three of these religions want the whole world to be their religion. I'm sure there are a few other religions like this also.
