It doesn't seem to me like faith should be a gift. However, Abraham demonstrated stupidity when he was ready to sacrifice his only son for a God who later gave the commandment not to kill.

Abel; he offered God a sacrifice of greater worth than Cain
Enoch; by faith was transferred so as not to see death
Noah; showed godly fear and constructed an ark and through this faith condemned the world and became an heir of righteousness
Abraham; left a comfortable life in Ur and by faith resided as an alien in a foreign land and dwelt in tents, also he as good as offered up his son through faith
Sarah; by faith received power to conceive past the age limit
Other men of faith in the bible were Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Rahab, Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David and Samuel plus many, many more

All the prophets.
All the apostles, except Judas Iscariot.
All the people so named as believers in the New Testament.
Okay, if you really want specific, then Paul, Peter, John,
Daniel, Nehemiah...there are too many to list.

How about Doubting Thomas, he demonstrated the gift of skepticism and common sense.
He was the only disciple of christ competent enough to buy a used car.

The Bible is full of people that had the gift of faith, for many who witnessed Jesus and his works, faith came easy.

there is no better example.
the person who had faith that just touching the robe of Jesus would heal him and he was healed.
the people who called Jesus when Lazarus died. they had faith that Jesus could raise Lazarus from the dead and He did.
there are oh so many more examples.
