I believe god is neither. God is a entity. I see people making God a man or women so God can be more human to them, more like a person, people tend to go for the things that are like them, hence male or female.
God is everywhere in everything. If one would see the full power of God that person would go crazy. God is beyond anything and everything we as humans can imagine. We would not be able to handle seeing the true power.
My thoughts on this subject.....

God is not a she nor He; God is a spirit, and they that worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.
The characters of his name and how the Almighty Creator operates and relates to mankind is masculine in gender. His descriptive will and communications to humanity would be as a Father would with his son or daughter.
No one has seen God at anytime! So then nobody can truly say that the Almighty is male or female? However, God revealed himself as male when he placed his Word as seed into the womb of a virgin named Mary and was born in the person of Jesus Christ; His only begotten Son that was sent by Him to take on him the sins of the world.
It's a spiritual thing, and you must be filled with God's Spirit to truly understand who is He! Call on the LORD, and ask him for yourself and He will revealed the truth to you!
Peace,
Hope

It is faith, nothing else. No one in today's world has seen God but certainly all of us has experienced the God in one or other way. We wish something and it happens as expected, we feel that there is God who assisted. We live and have continued living since we born, isn't it God? Your faith can be on any God or Godess, you can provide any sex to the God and make it he or she but does it really makes any difference if you believe that there is no God at all? So, I strongly believe that the God is whatever or whoever but is nothing without ones faith.
You see many people changing or rather converting from one religion to another due to whatsoever reason but largely due to the faith they had in one religion could not provide them what they were expecting from it hence tried another one and so on. But unless you trust and have faith in any way of living, you cannot find God.
If you think your God is she, let she be the God as far you have faith and trust in her. What matters is trust and faith.

Does it matter? Its arrogant enough that you even see God in a human form. Do you think humans are the only intelligent life in the universe? For all you know, God could look like ET and is both male AND female!

God is a man. That' why he created us first. Don't believe me? Men run the country, men own 90% of businesses, men are the head of a family, men don't bleed like they've been shot every month or have to carry around a baby for 9 months, men get paid better, do I need to continue?

God is neither He or she!...God is formless, shapeless, feelingless...God as a soul is every living being...but we dont recognise God...In fact we are God..but we have forgotten our identy, and we think that our mind, body, brain is our identy...Once we shut down our mind, we can see our original identity. Great peoples like jesus, paigambar, Shiv, Buddha, Gurunanak were able to find their own identity..hence we consider them as God...But remember we are also God!!!!!!!!

Since god is imaginary, you can imagine anything you like.
It could be: a he, a she, a he-she, a dog, a rock,a tree,a circus clown,a ferret, a ding-toed tree sloth, a waffle iron, a sea urchin,
a picnic table, a duck-billed platypus,or a grain of sand.
Doesn't matter. It is not real. Sorry.
