Blaming one religion responsible for terrorism is not fair. we may come across sevaral people from a particular religion that does not mean, the religion propogates terrorism. branding them as terrorists is vey unkind.

You please look into the history how these people have come up. These people were inhabitated in deserts where no crop can be grown. Those days their main prefession was to attack the travellers and make their livelyhood. One should read the story of Changis Khan. How he killed several people and looted. The earlier attacks and invasions on India were only to loot the wealth.Ghajani and Ghori attacked India several times. But they did not stay back. Slowly they decided to settle and rule the country. This could happen when moghuls started attacking. Even their first founder king Babar did not dream to settle but the subsequent kings slowly got into the stream of civilisation.

Today the muslim countries have become rich due to oil resources not otherwise. All the countries that need oil made them rich. Assume the position of these countries with out oil power. They will be far behind.

Countries interested to exploit the oil resources have started playing all sort of politicks including terrsorism.

No religion fought any war in the world to propogate their phylosophy except Islam. Their wars were described as holy wars and were given the name CRUSADES.

Invading, fighting wars, looting, using sword as a tool to achieve their goals is their phylosophy. When a tiger or lion kills its prey we do not call it terrorism but when muslims do this we call it terrorism. This is not fair. They are also becoming civilised and there are several attempts to liberalise their woman folk. They should be allowed to join the mainstream instead pushing them backward branding them as terrorists is unfair.

Do you actually look at the world news? Yes, there is a huge bias in the media portraying Muslims as fanatics and terrorists, but if you look a little further, you will see terrorists that are Jewish (Jerusalem) and Catholic/Christian (IRA, KKK, etc...) There is hate in all religions, and all have extremists distorting the doctrine to support their own personal wars.

History shows that no one got enlightened or attained salvation or became happy by cultivating hatred in society – instead, the path to self realization is the path of selfless service, compassion, and sharing and caring for our fellow beings. This is the path shown by all prophets and religions.

A few so called religious and political ‘leaders’ playing religious play cards, are busy cultivating hatred and violence in the minds of their supporters – against other religions and groups. They often do this by reminding their followers about some unfortunate communal incidents or riots that had happened in the past. In this way, they cause an identity crisis in the mind of people, and turn them towards violence, mostly for securing their own positions. This is one of the most important problems our society is facing today.

These days, people are associated with a religion, just in the same way they are associated with a political party. Most people are caught up in the rituals and symbols of religions – and only a very few are implementing the real values in their life. Each person has a religious ego associated with him – and problem begins when a person start identifying himself as a member of this or that religion – even prior to identifying himself as a blissful human being and as a true Indian.

Instead of blaming each other, all 'followers' should understand the fact that a permanent solution for violence is not counter violence – instead, we can bring a change only through peace and harmony. Violence against violence is just like playing a merry go round – and this foolish cycle can only increase the hatred in society and the number of dead bodies.

Unfortunately, people use the term ‘disbeliever’ to describe some one who is outside their religion – instead, the term should be used to describe every one who kills each other in the name of God, with out realizing that God is love.

All people have goodness with in them – but temporal motivations from pleasures and false ideologies – be it money or be it a conceptual heaven after death - make them blind. Each person should understand that he is not going to find the divine if he cannot find divinity in the person very next to him – for prayer and meditation is seeing God with in us, love is seeing God in the person next to us, and wisdom is realizing that the God is omnipresent - Since God is the think dense blissful consciousness that fills everyone and everything.

Let us work together to solve the threat of all kinds of terrorism - including corporate terrorism, religious terrorism etc :)
