John was J*sus' cousin, and they were both Jews. In Judaism, there is no thing like baptism (I would know, I'm Jewish) so how did John get the idea (in the words of my close friend) to go "dum dum dum sprinkle sprinkle new religion" Not to be disrespectful, of course, I would really appreciate some comprehensive answers.

The New World Translation here reads;

"Pay attention to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the holy spirit has appointed you overseers, to shepherd to congregation of God, which he purchased with the blood of his own [Son]."
WHO PURCHASED CHURCH WITH HIS OWN BLOOD?

Ac 20:28 Why is [Son] in brackets? How can this be "understood" without being in the Greek text explicitly?

The New American Standard Bible reads here:
.
to shepherd the Church of God which He purchased with His own Blood."
This would mean, that, as it was Jesus who was the one who died upon the "stauros," and whom the scriptures tells us "poured out his blood,"(Mat.26:28; John 6:54; 1 John 1:7)he is here referred to as "God."

Acts 20:28 (New International Version)

28Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers.[a] Be shepherds of the church of God,[b] which he bought with his own blood.

How can people believe in the new testament when it clearly states in the old one that there is only one g-d and there will be a time when false prophets arise(aka jesus) , and you shall not listen to them. Oh and by the way, why did the christians censor the jewish books to erase any mention of jesus??? (splain that)

Aren't you responsible for what you approve of, just as much as if you carried out the sentence yourself? I think so! If a man was molesting a little girl and there was a crowd of people standing there rooting him on, you'd consider the people in the crowd a party to his crime, wouldn't you? In many countries some people voluntarily WANTS to be crucified during your holy week. And every time they do this voluntarily they endure the pain and they do this yearly.

1- Prayed to God with strong crying and tears to save him from death = Selfishness
Mar 14:36 and he said, Abba, Father, all things [are] possible unto thee; take away this cup from me.

2- Blamed God for forsaking him = Rudeness
Mar 15:34 and at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

3- Showed anguish ,fear and deep distress.
Mat 26:37 He took Peter and Zebedee's two sons, James and John, and he began to be filled with anguish and deep distress.

And that's how Jesus set a perfect example to man in how to accept the Devin decree.
