The world, forsaking the lively power of God’s spiritual Word, was altogether led and blinded with outward ceremonies and human traditions; in these was all the hope of obtaining salvation fully fixed;
Insomuch that scarcely any other thing was seen in the temples or churches, taught or spoken of in sermons, or finally intended or gone about in their whole life, but only heaping up of a certain shadowy ceremonies

No God=No Hell=No Judgment=No Sin=No Commandment= I can do whatever I choose and I don't have to answer to anyone about it. I wonder why people who only have an intellectual problem with the Bible, have such a strong concern with punishment for sin?

I'm willing to bet the guy just convicted of rape or murder wishes nobody would "push" their views on him either. Guilty and they know it. I'm sure the Devil says the same things, "why won't they just let me be me," and "you are so intolerant". My favorite, "I was born this way." "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God" John 3:3

To Christians: Check the Scriptures and see if what I'm saying is true. Romans ch 1-3

To Atheists and Christians: If this seems harsh, good, so is eternal separation from God. Romans ch 1-3 ch 10 for the way of reconciliation.

After the Superbowl yesterday, when the Coach was asked what it was like to be the first African American coach to win a Superbowl, he responded that it was much more important that everyone know that both he and the Bears Coach are both black - and both used Christianity in their approach to winning the game...

But only one side won. So, does that mean that God is a Colts fan? And, with all the wars, illnessses and starvation on earth - does God really have time to officiate a football game and decide who its victors will be??

my grandpa just passed away about three hours ago. my mom was on a buisness trip and she just called saying she was coming home. when i asked why she started crying and said that grandpa passed.

i dunno why im not crying. i feel bad but i usually cry about a lot of stuff. but everythings gonna change now. my grandma is moving in with us. we dont know if we can pay for the funeral...its all so terribble.

i dunno what to do. how much do funerals cost in general?

im so sad. why arent i crying?

She's Asian, and like lots of Asians she is atheist.

She's one of the smartest kids in my class, and I seriously need help from her all the time. Apart from being intelligent, she is the nicest girl I have ever met. I love her dearly.


However *dun dun dun*, my mum won't let me go to her house because she thinks she's "ungodly," meaning that she doesn't believe in god, Jesus Christ, and all that other "godly" crap.

What to do?????

I am a christian raised high-schooler who, due to the teachings of science in my school, has become atheist... I truly think that there is no god...
